   It was our first time here and the service was great. Suggestions on food were spot on. We had a larger group with kids and adults and everyone enjoyed their appetizers and snacks. Great job and located very close to everything.

   They had multiple large parties and served food at the same time! Service was fabulous. Noise level was a challenge for everyone u less you sit in bar. Drinks and food were awesome! Polenta was decadent. Gnocchi amazing.

   Exceptional service and thoughtful presentation of food. Shrimp, olives, meatballs, panacotta and pepper appetizers were shared. The favorites:Shrimp (spicy) and panacotta with honey (sweet). Duck pappsrdelle and Salmon were raved about. Really a great place for out party of 7.

   Great atmosphere, great server, and even better food! The crab risotto and the salmon were both fantastic! And the coconut cream cake was big enough for two or three people to share. We will definitely be going back!

   Savannah our waitress was amazing!! We had a large 10 person group and a lot rowdy!!! She handled all of us with a smile and suggested things on the menu!! She was amazing!!Restaurant was close and excellent!!

   I ordered the crab risotto i would change it about it would be to add mushrooms. My roommate had i think the gnocci. She doesn't like mushrooms but was willing to try the dish with mushrooms. She didn't like them and the manager comped her dish. We also had the whipped ricotta. It was pretty good. I loved our server more than anything. Super sweet. Will return.

    What an amazing experience we had at Ella's on 2nd! From the moment we walked in and said we had an open table reservation for 2 but it would now be 5, our server, Carol, jumped into action! She really made this brunch an "experience for us", we could feel the Tennessee hospitality vibe throughout. My husband said while we were waiting for our friends that he was probably going to get the scrambler - it was like the classic eggs and potatoes plate. Carol took one look at him and said "you came all the way here to have that? Don't you want to go outside the box?" So glad she convinced him to get the brisket which he would have never tried and it was a delicious - highly recommended! Great way to start off a day of drinking with a nice hearty meal like that. I was undecided between the sandwhich or the Parma. She said I'll surprise you! And that she did, the Parma was outstanding! Our friends also had brisket or Parma and loved it! One friend did get lemon ricotta pancakes because we had to try, and they were so fluffy and delicious and lemony- just enough lemon and blueberries. They required no syrup as they were not dry at all! The bloody Mary's were flowing and also had a nice heavy pour and packed with flavor. I don't know what was better, the service or the food? Ask for Carol, she was a doll. We will be beck!

    This was my second time here. Brunch buffet was fantastic. The only thing missing that was on the menu was bagels, but there were plenty of other items. The staff was excellent and very friendly. Our pitcher of mimosas was perfect! We’ll be back soon.

    I've visited Nashville twice and gone to Ella's both times by myself - and have loved it both times. It's a beautiful restaurant, the food is delicious and the servers really go out of their way to make sure you have a great experience. During my last visit last weekend, my server Megan helped me find a new cocktail to try and also, when I told her I was just visiting the city, recommended a few local spots to try. I plan to go to Ella's every time I visit Nashville.

    Sadly, there is only one reason we won’t return…the acoustics are terrible!!!! Very echoey, difficult to chat. Food was very good, service was amazing, clean, and trendy.

    We were trying to reserve another restaurant, which was completely booked. Open Table suggested Ella’s on 2nd instead. It was nothing like the other restaurant so the suggestion was way off on Open Table’s part. The ambience was fine—beautiful decor, quiet, not many people. Our server was friendly. The buffet style breakfast was alright—the salmon and artichoke + tomato gratin were the best things offered; it was nice to find some less traditional items among the selections. We ordered drinks which they took to another guest’s table. The drinks sat at that table for a while (5-10 minutes). They took the drinks from that table and brought them to us. I didn’t like this, and felt they should’ve made new drinks: one because my drink was watered down and the champagne was no longer bubbly because of the ice in it, two because it just seems gross that our drinks sat with other people talking and eating with them at their table.

    The first two times I visited Ella’s, it was fenomenal! It was so great that I recommended Ella’s to be the place for my birthday dinner. I had friends in town, one of which was celebrating a birthday as well. This Ella’s experience was completely different and not in a good way. One of my friend’s salmon was extremely over cooked, the manager was even surprised. That salmon should not have served. I ordered a “kale” caesar salad but received a bowl full of underdressed romaine lettuce. I should have sent it back, but I didn’t. I was so excited and looking forward to devouring that salad. I was very disappointed when it arrived, but thought maybe the flavors were still there, it wasn’t. That salad was a slap in the face and it still stings.

    Waiter was slow, inattentive and had the personality of a potato. He obviously did not want to be there. Food was awful. Probably worst food I’ve ever attempted to eat. I am not a picky eater either. The food was just gross and a lot of items were missing from the buffet as well. Scrambled eggs had zero flavor and were hard. Pancakes were hard and cold, oatmeal was completely out, potatoes had no flavor. Even the coffee was bad. Served barely lukewarm. I would never ever, ever go back here. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I spent $75.00 only to go eat elsewhere afterwards. My daughter and I were extremely disappointed.

    My first name is Ella so I obviously wanted to try the restaurant of my namesake on my birthday. The staff was extremely friendly/professional and the brunch buffet had a superb selection. I was extremely pleased to be able to choose between 3 salad options, salmon and quiche along with a pancake bar for dessert. I will absolutely be back!

    Great atmosphere and amazing service. Food menu was just ok! Sunday Buffett items left you just unsatisfied. The selected its left your taste pallet all over place and confused. Hopefully, they will improve the selections and pay attention to details.
