Ember Wood Fired Grill features a locally inspired menu with a casual upscale setting. Our Chef, Christopher Gouzie, best describes our menu as "Globally Inspired". It features familiar dishes with a twist. "We use new and interesting ingredients, and different cooking procedures to introduce our guests to a unique way to present food."

We have taken this same concept for our Specialty Cocktail list. Deviating from the classic recipe with housemade syrups, specialty bitters, and high end liquors and liqueurs.

Enjoy our sleek downstairs dining room, outdoor covered terrace, or upstairs bourbon room, where we house over 100 whiskeys on selection, and offer over 20 wines by the glass and bottle.

We regularly host private events, and therefor reservations are recommended.

As usual, phenomenal meals and great service! Ember has become our go to restaurant for any occasion. Ambiance is always good.

We went to dinner with another couple and had an amazing meal. The service was top notch! The atmosphere is so cozy with a fire place, old wood architecture and dimmed chandeliers. All of our crafted cocktails were delicious too. The new fall menu has so many yummy looking choices, it was a tough decision. You’ll never regret the Beef Shirt Rib! It’s our go to!

Our drinks were good but food was so-so. I ordered steak tips medium well. Some pieces were well done, another was almost rare. Green beans were extremely salty and could not eat. Crème brûlée was burned on half of the top. Not worth the price we paid. I did not return the food as I did not to delay others from eating. When I made reservations for 6, I had noted birthday and retirement celebration which neither was acknowledged. We have been dining here for 40 years since it was The Firehouse, Chop Shop and now Ember, not what it used to be, will not be returning.

Appetizers and drinks were good. Food was just OK. We’d return again for a drink and appetizer but the food was overdone and under-seasoned for the price we paid. Service was good. I will say that the surprise credit card surcharge at the end wasn’t appreciated. Who pays for a full meal with cash today? Build it into the price of your food. It just feels like a nickel-and-dime opportunity at the end and leaves a sour taste in your mouth.

Our waitress, Kira, was INCREDIBLE — thoughtful, responsive, and friendly. The food was amazing. There’s a reason this is our go to restaurant for special occasions!

We have been to Ember 3 times so far, last night wasn’t a good service. First of all it was a Bday dinner and we did let them know on the reservation, no acknowledgement. Then the service was slow from the waitress, and it was a slow night in the restaurant. We ordered apps, and they were the best part of the meal. 2 people ordered steaks both were over cooked and poorly seasoned. 1 person ordered chicken Parm and it was overcooked. When I showed the server the steak, there really wasn’t an offer to fix. I hope this is just a fluke as this place has potential.
