   We both got the chicken and waffles, it was very rich but amazing. The passion fruit mimosas were great as well. Farmers commons has great atmosphere and cute decor!

   Outside dining area, could use some fans to minimize the fly activity on the back porch. Our first dinner they were out of two of the wines that are available at the Vineyard. The staff well very pleasant. We’re battling a new system for ordering and paying on a holiday weekend. The food overall was good and very fresh, with the exception of the halibut. Recommend some training with the staff to improve knowledge. Loved the ambiance, spacious seating. Want you to be successful. Look forward to another visit

   Found The Vineyard at Florence and Farmer's Common, and decided it would be a fun place to check out for brunch on a Sunday. We walked in a bit early and discovered that they were hosting a 5K Run that day, which probably contributed to some of our experience. This place is quite delightful - lovely decor, great ambiance for couples or for families, and the food was very good. The live jazz saxophone player was a nice touch! Unfortunately, our service was mediocre. The problems started with our drinks and appetizers order. My wife and I both wanted a vodka-based cocktail, but it turned out they were out of vodka (!) We made alternative choices, but it took a while to get our drinks, despite the restaurant not being overly busy. Our appetizers - candied bacon and tomato bisque - came out and were both excellent. Right after they were delivered, our waitress appeared to tell us that she was leaving, and another waitress was taking over our table. After finishing our apps and waiting 20+ minutes for our "new" waitress to appear, my wife had to go and speak with the hostess, who came back to take our entree orders. After a considerable wait (and by now the restaurant was at least 1/3-1/2 empty) they finally appeared. No one checked if we needed anything, though I would have appreciated a little pepper or maybe some hot sauce. They also got our order wrong and forgot about my wife's side of turkey sausage (which might have gotten added to my entree by mistake.) Again, we had to flag down the hostess to get the order corrected. No one ever asked if we needed a second cocktail. At the end of our meal, after another long wait, another waitress (Katelyn) came over to give us our check and collect payment. In her words, "Well, it was an adventure but I guess we made it." Although she was pleasant, it wasn't exactly inspiring. Despite all, we would recommend checking this place out, and we will give it a second chance. I suspect we caught them on a bad day.

    Facilities and atmosphere are the highlight of the venue. Food was very good and timely served. Service seemed to be a work still in progress and training ongoing. Staff friendly and trying to be accommodating.

    Structurally, the Vineyard is very grand & impressive upon arriving, but the quality of the overall operation did not measure up to my expectations. Food and service was mediocre at best. There is potential, as our server was good, but needs more training on understanding the items as listed on the menu. Food and beverages were slow to arrive. And of our party of 4 only one was pleased with the quality of their entree. So hope management steps up to make the Vineyards of Florence a top-rated location in Hill Country for excellent food and quality service.

    Farmers Commons is one of our favorite places to go! The staff & service is always phenomenal. They are always warm & attentive. The food quality is consistent & delicious! I love the steak au poivre & my husband loves the burger. Don’t pass this place up! You won’t regret it!

    We are not giving up on this place. We brought new guest out last night. Our dinner was great with one exception...my husband's steak was over cooked. They cooked him another which took a while (he likes it rare, so it shouldn't take so long)! The manager did come over and comped his steak for the delay with his meal. So that was very nice. We are members so we will continue to come and bring new guests. It is such a treat to have such fine dining out in the middle of nowhere:-)

    I had dinner with four girlfriends visiting from our of town. We were so impressed with the ambience, the food, and the servers. It was a perfect evening with a perfect atmosphere. Definitely on our "to go" list for something extra special.

    This location is beautiful filled with Texas Hill Country vibes. The restaurant interior is stunning. The service was fantastic. The food was overall good, my husband loved his burger. I had the veggie pizza and was unimpressed. We both ordered a cocktail and my espresso martini was crazy good. We will be back. I have more food to try before I pass judgment on one experience. The outdoor ambiance was spot in. We can’t wait to go back.

    We are members of the vineyard, so we go often. I decided to get the lobster mac n cheese. There was not one chunk of lobster in the dish, such a disappointment. We had friends that were visiting from out of town and are vegans. She emailed the restaurant on Tuesday before our Saturday reservation to see if they could accommodate them with vegan food. She never heard back. When we called on Saturday morning to inquire about vegan food, the person who answered was very helpful but said had they know in advance they could have had more options for them. My friend then explained she had emailed but no one responded:-( We love this place because of their location, the beautiful setting and the wine but the entire place (vineyard included) is VERY poorly mismanaged. We have had numerous problems with lack of organization.

    Back in a few years and it has changed so much for the better! Excellent venue next to the wine tasting and great location. Food was excellent. Best burger, no doubt!!! Prices a little over average but overall worth the experience. Went for a birthday celebration and noted in open table reservation but yet there was no recognition of any kind so a little disappointing!

    Good food and service was great! However, the Bloody Mary’s and the lattes were ROUGH. We also ordered 2 coffees and OJ and never received them. My recommendation: dial in the cocktails and small details a bit more. For a place with this aesthetic, I’d expect more of a refined experience.

    Slow service, limited menu, plus menu did not match the menu online. They were out of Pinot Grigio, and out of Aperol. Server was friendly and polite but very slow. Very disappointing, we've been there several times recently and were excited to return, but this was a big disappointment, especially because we took friends to see this new "great" restaurant. Had to ask for the music to be lowered in volume, which they did. Why do restaurants have the music so loud you can barely hear the person across the table? Not sure we will go back, and we are sad about that.

    We enjoy visiting The Vineyards in Florence. We are also wine club members and totally enjoy the wine pick-up parties. We have enjoyed many meals there. Service has always been very good and I include the entire staff. Food has never disappointed. In fact, I am certain that if there was a problem, it would be taken care of immediately. We are returning early next month, party of six, with one individual celebrating retirement from many years of teaching in Texas.

    Good: Atmosphere, style, menu variety, bacon starter was delicious Average: Food was a bit bland; Avocado toast burnt (black) bread; way too much truffle oil on several dishes; croissant sandwich served solo no salad, chips, or garnish just on a small tray pretty basic. Poor: Lack of organization/no host at entry; server (no wine skills), took order, no follow up, brought check. Server was very inexperienced; Restaurant service overall was weak; staff seemed to be lost; no manager or lead present. Overall a solid “C” / won’t rush back but will probably visit again as perhaps it was just a off Sunday brunch day. Lots of potential for a fantastic experience if they try harder and staff gets some training. Menu is creative

    Beautiful location for a romantic/intimate setting. Grounds are very well kept Dinner choices are slim Appetizers and salads are fantastic Main course meals are bare With the fresh garden on site (chefs garden), they should have more healthy options. Prices were high for what you get

    Food and atmosphere were top notch but the main course was extremely overpriced ( catch of the day and chef’s cut). I’ve lived all over the world and don’t mind paying for something special but the prices were not conducive to the quality and portions. Literally should have been $20 cheaper. Sides were separate pricing which again I have no problem with but they were nothing special and overpriced as well. Loved the atmosphere so will visit again but not for dinner unfortunately.
