We got to location on time. Waited 25 minutes to be sat. Then another 10 min before we saw the waitress. Then 20 minutes in line to get food. Took 25 min to get my Bloody Mary. Server said there was only one bartender!!! Food that we ordered from kitchen came out at multiple times some 15 min one 35 min. It was cold. Overall not what I expected from such a affluent place. Understaffed are every position.

Just okay. Waited 40 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. Everything seemed a little tired, including some of the staff. I could attribute some of this to the challenges of operating under Covid measures and restrictions. once seated, food was good, as was our waiter. Hard to squeeze value out of Sunday Brunch unless you’re going to be there over an hour. Unfortunately we had to rush out to get to our next event due to the delay in being seated.

I went here for Sunday Bruch Buffet and overall it was a subpar experience with mediocre food

Checking In
- We were asked to stand outside without much direction till we seated. And that took sometime even when we already had a reservation.

Seating / service
- The entire outside area had only two servers. Felt like the whole place was severely understaffed
- During COVID, for the buffet you have to stand in a line and a server serves food for your liking from behind a plexiglass divider.. which is fine but it felt more like I was at a like a Chipotle during rush hour. The available food was being told to me at a rush in an extremely unclear manner.
-We had to REALLY GO LOOKING for where the desserts were at. After walking past the supposedly dessert bar multiple times we realized we had to order the mini deserts through a counter that almost looked into the dessert prep area.

Food
- We found a piece of hair in our eggs Benedict and when we told our server about it. He was pretty nonchalant about it.

I have dined at their restaurants before and have always had only
good things to say. Extremely disappointed

They just haven’t nailed the COVID friendly service. Our waitress was super awesome but we couldn’t order food from her.... we had to use the buffet. We had to wait in line for our food, not six feet apart from other diners for like 20 minutes. It was super strange.

Decent overall experience with some snags. We had a 9pm outdoor reservation and arrived a little early. We were told it would be closer to 9pm before we would be seated. As the area near the door was rather crowded we hung out near the fountain waiting (30 feet away) to be called. Around 8:55pm we received a text telling us our table was ready. When we arrived to the hostess station we told to stand right outside the door for our table. We ended up standing in a very small crowded area for 20 minutes waiting to be called. I was surprised to receive a text telling me my table was ready and then had to wait, especially with a pandemic going on, for our table.

The seating area outside was very nice and quiet, until it started raining. Looking around there were a few tables that were drenched with water, thankfully we were only sprinkled on, but still it would have been nice not get rained on. Unfortunately, there were no other available outdoor tables.

Our appetizer arrived the hot crab and artichoke dip, it was very good. The combination was flavors worked well with the creaminess of the sauce. The bread was really good that came with it.

My entree was a let down. I ordered the catfish entree. Everything on my plate arrived cold. The mango chutney I understand but the grits, green beans and catfish were all cold. The fish had a decent flavor, just needed to be hot.

The service was really good. Our server was very attentive and very knowledgeable and efficient. If you get an outdoor table I would recommend bringing an umbrella. The appetizer was very good while my entree was a let down. Please don't tell me that my table is ready and then make me wait in a crowded area for 20 minutes.

We ate outside. Staff was attentive and well focused on maintaining all COVID procedures. Food was excellent. Quick service and addressed questions. Would definitely return. Great first experience!

Very good food - loved the burgers and kettle korn. Service was a bit disorganized, but nothing terrible. Sat outside which was nice but very noisy - loud music from boats, lots of people around, jets overhead. Somewhat pricy for the amount of food.

Very great idea for a family dinner. Had a great time and the female waitress was amazing. She entertained and gave amazing suggestions with every question. Plus it was always superb. Def will make this a more common meal place.

A group of friends & I had an atrocious, police state-like experience here on Friday night & I won’t be returning to any Farmers restaurant, although I like the food and the server was good. The reason I won’t be returning is do to the “covid-era” condescension of the manager & her inexcusable & dogmatic treatment of my friends & I. Due to a mild emergency, 3 out of our original party of 6 we’re going to be significantly late for our reservation. Due to that & the 1.5 hour maximum, we made the decision to be seated for the 3 of us, figuring by the time our other friends arrived, it’d be at least our 1.5 hours, & we could on to somewhere else.

We were seated at a 4 top. Our friends made it to the restaurant when we were about 60-70 minutes into our time maximum. Since only 2 of them came, we were short 1 seat at the table, but easily could have squeezed an additional chair without capping the table (fire code) or breaking social distancing (ridiculous DC police state mandates). We were in the middle of finishing our $85 of food & beverage so asked for a simple accomodation of squeezing 1 more in at our 4 top table so that we could finish what we had purchased over the next 20-30 minutes. The manager condescendingly said “no” & then repeated her mantra of “‘‘tis is for our safety”. (As an educated and free person, I don’t expect to be spoken to like a 1st grader when I go out to a restaurant & pay for goods& service.)

After posing a couple other reasonable alternatives, in interest of us being able to finish the goods we purchased, & her denying them wo any concern for the fact that we are paying customers or for the fact she was being totally unreasonable & quite condescending, She comes to our table to say my friends would have to go stand outside in the rain. Uh no. I requested the check.

The moment I requested the check, her whole demeanor changed. She came back to tell us there was a table, but then never followed up after that. We left.

Quick outdoor lunch with my daughter. Server was great. Food was awesome. Lovely outdoor area. Depending on the weather, maybe ask to be sat in the shade. We didn’t and it did get really hot. But it was still a nice experience.

My sister and I hadn’t gone out for brunch since before the pandemic. We’d also never eaten brunch at any of the Farmers Restaurant Group locations, so we figured Farmers Fishers Bakers would be great place to go. Despite the brunch being buffet-style, our server was extremely attentive. She made sure our coffee and water were always filled and our dirty plates were cleared. The food was filling, not heavy, and the brunch offers a variety of foods. From French toast topped with Bananas Foster, to seafood jambalaya (and many more options I didn’t mention), there’s something for everyone.

Buffets in pandemic don't mix well. Came for the weekend brunch and spent the majority of the time waiting in a long line for food. Only 1-2 people were serving food on the buffet line at a time for a line of 25-35 people. Super inefficient ... not all the usual foods were out. Some you had to ask for , others they didn't have or kid behind the kitchen wall. Overall a waste of a $100 brunch

Amazing atmosphere, timely with the table based on reservation, food was great and an amazing value. 2 appetizers, shareable drink, 2 entrees and 2 coffee for desert @ $115. Had no idea this place was so well priced, will definitely be coming back.

Did not live up to expectations . Although staff was friendly and responsive, the overall experience was disappointing due to missteps on food and drinks. A drink was watery and had to be sent back; salad greens were a bit wilted and in general, the presentation of the salad ordered was visually unappealing; the vegan meatloaf was overdone with salt. On a positive note, the black pepper garlic wings turned out well and the outside dining area is perfect for people watching.

Really was looking forward to the duck fat fried chicken wings, but no longer on menu. Otherwise salmon, short ribs and crabcakes were good !

These is my least favorite of the restaurant chain due to the menu, but you still can’t go wrong at any of their locations. My only complaint was the wait time. We had reservations and weren’t seated until almost 20 minutes later. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt that it was a nice fall-like afternoon and everyone clearly wanted to be out at the harbor (on the patio), so I understood the lingering guests wanting to take in the sites. The energy was lively and love their view-the-menu on the mobile site initiative as well as the QR scan to pay for your bill like other restaurants have imposed during these pandemic times. And the Zombies are delicious.

We have wanted to try this place for a while... and am sad to say that COVID has not done any favors. Clearly understaffed... our poor server was spread way too thin, and did not seem to have the time to give us the experience we wanted when celebrating my husbands birthday.
