                                                                                                                                                    I do want to recommend this place as the food was great but we got a bad table (despite it being quiet) and we increasingly visited by swarming flies. I think we just had a bad experience and should have requested to move earlier. The waiting staff were not apologetic, which we disappointing.

My haddock and chips looked as though it had been cooked ages before then reheated in the oven. The fish was not particularly fresh or tasty. The cocktail I ordered was only average. I won't be going again.

My husband’s meal was disappointing. The scallops had an odd taste and his chips were in a very small bowl for £5.50. That would have been ok if they were all quality chips but he had a lot of scrappy ends.
