We enjoyed the breakfast buffet during our stay here in Texas. The food was fresh and tasty and the service was excellent. A great experience for sure! Hotel food can be quite disappointing and that is not the case here. The omelets are terrific!

To be honest we were not expecting it to be as great as it was. Mother’s Day Brunch for $75 at the Omni, we guessed it would be good not great. We were very wrong. Everything from the check in for brunch, the views in the dining rooms, the Buffett layout and service. Hats off to the chefs, wait staff, camera guy and management for going the extra mile. The whole family has a very filling meal, enjoyed themselves making bouquets, cards and taking pictures. Thank you!!

This is our third year going on Mother’s Day. The brunch buffet was spectacular. Servers were a bit overwhelmed and while the junior waitress was great the lead was kind but not as available to us. Food was amazing with everything from lobster to omelettes, french toast, and a meat carving station. A huge dessert bar was a hit as well. We will be back!

The food is constantly amazing and the staff is so friendly. My family and I love coming for the special occasions because Flossies always have cute experiences set up. Hoping they are doing something for Father’s Day. This brunch is a family favorite and will be a continued tradition.

The food was stupendous and the atmosphere really inviting. There were 12 of us and we had a wonderful Easter meal.

We made a reservation for 12 along with other family members. When we arrived our table was set for 10. The other family members tables were set properly. The staff was very accommodating to add chairs, but we should not have had to do this. The reservation was for 12, so the table should have been set for 12. The other group was seated at their table which was set for 7, at a table that would have comfortably sat 12. When we asked about it, we were told to move to a table set for 8 - which made no sense whatsoever. When we pushed back on that, we were told we could use two tables, one for 8 and one for 7 which would have separated our group of 12. Either set the table to match the reservation, or don’t allow people to reserve for 12. In the end we worked it out, but we’re seated far from our other family members (which we knew could happen), but they could/should have been given the table for 7 or 8 people as they had reserved and we should have been given a table set for 12. The reservation was made for 12 The reservation was confirmed for 12. Why was it not ready for 12?

I booked the thanksgiving dinner buffet for my wife and I and it was not worth the money. While the selection of food was excellent, that was pretty much the only good thing about our dinner. We booked the last reservation available because we drove from 5 hours out of town that morning. Once we arrived, we were seated and then ignored. After 10 minutes someone finally brought us drinks. When we went to get our food, it had been sitting out for a while, the table was messy, and the food was not warm anymore. We also felt rushed because the staff were all making boxes for themselves and cleaning up the food. After we ate, we waited about 15 minutes for someone to bring us the check. And then about 20 more minutes before anyone checked us out. We kept trying to wave over waiters but they were all standing around the buffet talking and making themselves plates from the leftovers. Overall we paid almost $200 for cold food, poor service, and feeling like the staff just wanted us to leave so they could clean up. We ended up going out for fast food later.

Flossie's has not kept up with its first impression at all in any area, especially with the price increase. Except for the seafood area, everything else was pretty standard holiday fare. We had a 2:00 p.m. reservation and 2:55 p.m., we were told the buffet was closing. The wait staff had started serving themselves. I've gone to a lot of buffets and have never had to excuse or be excused by the wait staff. No teaspoons or stirrers for the coffee and tea. I think the Omni if much better than that.

Our experience was amazing. We had a brother and sister family reunion. We have not been able to see each other in years and we booked the brunch. We’re still talking about it. Randy was so accommodating. It was an amazing experience and he made sure we had everything.
