Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. We've come to know Fogo as having the best wait staff and servers around; today was no exception. The food was served hot and fresh, though it took a little longer than usual. Overall, it was a delicious lunch at our favorite downtown venue.
The service from the start was poor walked waited over five minutes to be greeted. Then after being seated asked for water had to wait over 15 minutes. Then after being there over a half hour then they decide to bring bread and sides out. The meats were ok but had to always request certain cuts. When requested took time to get them. So this experience was over all poor and I will not be returning.
My experience at fago the chaos on Mother’s Day was very unpleasant. IT WAS AWFUL!! I made reservations for 7:30pm and arrive 20min earlier thinking that we did the right thing. We were not able to get a seat on time, it was 20 min pass our reservation time when I had to complain to the front desk before they gave us a table. The place was way too crowded, and with Covid it was totally something I did not expect. My pregnant wife was very disappointed because this was a moment she was looking forward to, the table on the left of us was way too close to us, we had a very uncomfortable experience and were not happy with the overall experience. I think manager of that location should be fired!!!
We apologize for this, as your Mother's Day should've been spectacular, with wonderful service and delicious meals. We'd love the chance to deliver a better experience in the future.
Never again. We had a reservation but they were running behind. Insufficient seating in lounge and no table service. The whole evening was chaotic. The only things that were good were the cocktails, lamb chops and Chilean Sea Bass. The restrooms were dirty and lacking in paper. Spend your $ elsewhere. There are plenty of great restaurants in Baltimore where the food is delish, where you can relax and not feel like you're in a crowded bus terminal.

The Good: The hostesses were nice and we were seated right away at out reservation time
The food was pretty good. Half-price Brazilian wine bottles. Drinks were strong. Valet employees were so nice and professional.
The Bad: Service was sooooo bad! It was busy, but it took at least 20 minutes for our server to come initially. We had to ask for certain cuts of meat, otherwise they would not have brought them out. At one point, we asked for more drinks. After 40 minutes, we had to flag down one of the meat servers to find our waiter! We were so disgusted we said just to bring the checks. He brought our bill to the table and just placed it in front of our faces. No apology or explanation for the delay. No words actually (His English was somewhat limited but that’s still no excuse).
The Ugly: It was super crowded! There was no way to practice 6-ft distancing because the tables were all 2 ft apart! No exaggeration. We had to turn sideways to get past tables. Even before Covid, I’ve never seen this many tables in a Fogo de Chao. They used every available space to place seating and every table was being used. Not safe at all! I’m sure it wasn’t legal. Luckily we were seated in the back against a wall, but we had my elderly mom and aunt stay seated while we fixed their salads because of the fall hazard and risk of Covid exposure. I felt bad for the tables in the middle as everyone had to almost pass over their plates to get by. A poor, greedy, and unsafe decision on the part of management. Next time, I’ll make my way to the one in DC before I ever come here again.
Our server Allison was was very delightful and courteous.

My family was there for Mother’s Day brunch/lunch. They were VERY busy, but we couldn’t be better served. All the staff were great! We were VERY pleased. It was a great Mother’s Day. We’ll definitely coming back. We high recommend this location.
It was horrible! Granted it was Mother’s Day, however, it was overcrowded, food was not good, service was slow, and we wanted the Brunch option but was told it was not available so everyone was made to buy the Full experience. Lesson learned, money went down the drained.
This is disappointing to hear, as your satisfaction with your experience is our priority. We'd hate for you to stay away, so when you're willing, please award us another chance.
We were seated immediately which was great since we had a reservation. Our waitress introduced herself. Took our order for Wagyu steak and water. Left and we never saw her again. Attempted to speak to a manager and she ignored us. Granted I know it was mother's day and busy but I expected much better service. I'm hoping this was a one off.

Wonderful meat choices as always. It's a great welcoming back after trying to avoid indoor dining for over a year. Service, perfect. A bit crowded, even at an early 11.30 am. But, it was Mother's Day. You can't beat the price for such variant and tasty food choices. Their cheeses, cheese bread, sweet banana, are also delectable.
I feel like all the Fago de Chao stick to their signature menu... Other than that, we have enjoyed our foods and the ambiance at the special lunch today. The service was awesome.

lack of service was appalling, 30 mins to get drinks, no sides until halfway through meal. overcrowded, asked for additional silverware since it was dropped on floor, took 20 mins and asking 2 people for a fork.

We could not justify the price we paid (even full price for children). This was our first time but our expectations were not met. The food is ok but for the price, it should be more than ok. They were not understaffed but service-wise it felt like they were. The place was too crowded for Covid times. Aside from the few hand sanitizers available, it was as if it's like your normal busy crowded restaurant. Not much distancing as you won't have space anyway with all the people inside. The line to the sides buffet was too crowded and tables weren't that significantly distanced. It may be just this location but it will take us a bit of an effort to try this restaurant again in the future.
Chris, we're sorry you didn't have a positive experience here. It's important to us that we offer five-star food and service, so it's disappointing that you received anything less. Valet service was understaffed. They gave as a ticket for the parking garage and claimed we would pay $7 instead of standard fare as a courtesy to the parking mess. Upon checkout, we were charged standard. Ticket we were given was invalid. Paid $28 for parking which left a bad taste in our mouth after an otherwise pleasant evening. Would not come back due to the poor valet service. Understaffing created very dangerous and confusing roadside situation and courtesy ticket was invalid. Seems like it may have been a ploy to get the parking queue reduced. Other option was to “drive around block 2-3 times@. Laughable if not so maddening.
Very fun time, good service and delicious food. Perfect for a nice date if you ask for a table in the back where it is quieter.
Went on a Friday night. It was loud and over crowded. We waited 20 minutes for our sparkling water and bread, so we left. It was like an expensive Golden Coral.

My sister, her son, and I were seated right away. There were COVID safety rules in place for the salad bar. The food was excellent; the service was fantastic.
We had made reservations for 9:00pm for a party of 5, which they were late seating us, for my sister’s birthday. We are from Philadelphia, so we were unaware that Baltimore was operating at 100% capacity with restaurants. We had been to a Starbucks which had no indoor seating and also a Mexican restaurant which was only outside seating. The tables were not six feet apart nor were people social distancing at the entry way. Also the buffet was opened with no social distancing and some guest weren’t wearing masks at the buffet. We just left, we did not eat, it was unsafe and unclean in the middle of a pandemic.

My fiancé 40th bday.. I had asked to have cake sent after dinner in the reservation notes but I ended up having to order it at the restaurant. It was ok though. The food and service was excellent.
Super fun and lively
While the food was delicious, we still waited 40 minutes after arriving to be seated, even WITH a reservation. It was frustrating. Normally we are seated right away with an Open Table reservation.
Servers were a bit scarce but the restaurant was very busy. Check offered before dessert when we were celebrating a birthday. Food was amazing and people were friendly!
Overall a great experience with very good food and service. My only complaint was that we waited for a half an hour past our actual reservation time for a table l. I found this quite absurd but they were busy.
Would've been better had we not had to ask several times for different types of meat. We were offered the same Sirloin 2 times in the first 10 minutes. We had to constantly flag staff down asking for different types of meat, drink refills etc. Disappointed!!!

Food was fantastic, no way you could eat all that meat. We wasted our time ordering appetizer, because meat came way before appetizer; which was $40 by itself. Was a little loud, there were a few birthdays going on. We used valet, well worth it, and waited literally 2min before being seated with reservation and we were there 7pm on a Saturday, impressive. Lots of precautions taken due to COVID-19, really appreciated that. Will definitely come back, by the way for 2 people our bill was around 200$ and that was without alcohol drinks, but with 18% tip.

Have been here multiple times, but my first visit since the pandemic. The food is still amazing, the service is still top notch, and I appreciate the changes they made to both keep things safe and still off their full service to diners.
Thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Did not feel it was too crowded. Staff was attentive and unlike some other reviews, the servers came around frequently with different meat selections, water and sides refills. All staff members were helpful and friendly. My daughter ordered an entree (salmon) instead of the whole experience -- thought it was a bit overpriced for what she got but the food was delicious.
For my wife s 40th birthday I took my family to Baltimore for a long weekend all culminating with an Easter brunch at Fogo de Chao. It was fantastic! They took extra good care of us and even gave us our choice of dessert on the house!! Delicious food, superior waitstaff and beautiful atmosphere helped put the cherry on top of a PHENOMENAL weekend!!!
There was a bit of a wait even with the reservation. However the food was good and the atmosphere was very nice. The staff was friendly.
