Frank's Restaurant is a cozy Italian eatery located in New Orleans, Louisiana. The venue has celebrated its 50th anniversary and is a popular spot in the neighborhood. Frank's Restaurant started out as a deli that sold sandwiches like po' boys and muffaletta, and has since expanded its menu and created dine-in seating options. It is open every day of the week for lunch and dinner.Frank's Restaurant has lots of great dishes that visitors should try out. On the appetizer side, there is everything from fried crawfish tails and crab cakes, to fried calamari and Italian stuffed artichokes. For seafood, diners can munch on dishes like a fried oyster platter with fries or boiled crawfish with is a NOLA classic. To finish off a meal, the cannoli and tiramisu desserts are a must try!

We had a muffuletta sandwich and salad with white wine. The sandwich far exceeded expectations and it was huge!! Yum would recommend everyone try this sandwich here! We were upstairs it was not busy during a rain storm on April 15. Our server lacked personality and walked extra slow when taking our order or bringing our food. We would have had dessert and another drink had he offered rather than just bringing us the bill. The tables around us seemed well attended by waitress upstairs so that is good.

We had an absolutely wonderful meal. We started with meatballs. They are so yummy. And wonderful cocktails. Then had caprese salad - very generous portion. My main entry was veal piccata- delicious. We finished with creme brulee! All wonderfully. But the service we got from Kathy was fantastic. She made our night special.

I made a reservation on OpenTable for red like chicken, I got a couple of reminders prior to my reservation date and time to confirm. Arrived a few minutes early and our table was waiting. The staff was friendly. The service was good. The atmosphere was very fun, and the food was excellent.

The restaurant is simple, but nice. One of the owners was very nice and attentive while the other woman was naughty and grumpy. We had the drinks and appetizers, that were quickly served, but the main course never arrived. We waited more than 1 hour after the ppetizers, other tables that arrive after us were served and we never had our food. After all this time we decide to leave, and spend our new year eve without dinner. It was very bad.

My wife and I enjoyed New Years Eve dinner at Franks. Great food as always and outstanding service, no make that extraordinary service! Always feel like I’m with friends wIth the servers at Franks. Love this place!

The worst dining experience we have had in many years. The service was rude, incompetent and extremely slow. When the food eventually arrived, it was cold. Not recommended.

We arrived and the staff had seemingly no way Kroeger know if we had a reservation or not. We were seat and the staff was seriously overwhelmed. They ran out of cups, they didn’t bring silverware to an adjacent table and we decided just to leave. The food smelled great but Nee Years Eve was not the time to go.

Frank’s is the “ go to” place for the true Muffaletta! Every time we travel to New Orleans it’s the 1st stop we make. They also have an array of other options of delicious pastas and shanks and Italian delicacies! You won’t be disappointed. Reservations are recommended.

Went for an early lunch in October 2022, group of 4. We all ordered something different and the overall quality and taste of all 4 dishes was great! I got the Muffuletta and it was fantastic - would definitely get it again! The restaurant has a comfortable family feel, the service was very personal and attentive, couldn't have been more helpful. Will definitely go again next time we are in New Orleans!

Great food in a comfortable atmosphere. As a bonus, we got to sit on the balcony and observe the Krewe of Boo parade.

Excellent service. Our waitress was super! Very funny too. Took a group of out of town friends. The food checked all the boxes. We wanted all the famous NOLA staples. Muffuletta, their famous and delicious New Orleans BBQ shrimp, fresh caught. The Oyster Po boy. Their bread was delicious. Gumbo was dark and rich, really good flavor. Ambiance is old school New Orleans. Loved it.
