The food was quite good and I recommend the duck duck goose in particular. The food quality and quantity are better than the last times I ate here, pre-COVID ( whenI felt the quantities were stingy, quality average, and price point too high for what I was served from around 2015-2019 but some of my friends disagreed to be honest). The service was outstanding and the ambience is quite nice, as it has been since it opened. While I was hesitant to eat here based on prior experience, above, I was quite pleased and can recommend it; I plan to return.

This is a culinary gem nestled in Montana's scenic beauty. Their duck dish is an exquisite delight, perfectly balanced in flavor and tenderness. The lobster fettuccine, seamlessly marries the richness of lobster with the finesse of homemade pasta. Kudos to the chef and the rest of the staff! Their expertise truly shines in every facet. The service was great from Luke and Jess.

We had a good dinner at Gallatin River Lodge. We hadn't been there since the pandemic and enjoyed our time there with friends. It was quieter than we expected...which facilitates conversation.

From start to finish, it was incredible!!! Kayla the bartender was amazing, our server was awesome, even though I forgot her name, and let’s talk about your new Chef, Jorge!!! What a fantastic menu he has put out, so delicious!!! We especially loved seeing him out serving his food, and talking with all the guests. You’ve got a keeper there!!! 5 stars, hands down!!!

4 of us sat outside beautiful weather storm rolled through far away. watched people fly fish in the pond. Live music was wonderful. We had the trout dip and Brussels sprouts shareable was amazing. The duck, lobster fettuccine, smash burger and salmon all perfectly cooked. Had all 3 deserts recommended them all. Liz our server was the best took care of us wonderfully. I guess there is a new Chef great job Chef

We noted in our reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary and requested a table in a certain area of the restaurant. We made our reservation around three weeks ahead of time. Unfortunately, though a table in the requested location was available and other parties of two were seated in that area, we were put into a table crowded right by the server station. Though our food was wonderful, we were disappointed with the lack of acknowledgement of our request and our table.

Scallops and steak were perfectly prepared. Vegetables were neither extraordinarily al dente nor over-cooked. Flourless chocolate cake was just baked -- freshness popped out! California wines were exceptional. Port to end the meal was generous. We shall return and return.

Great place to get away from Main Street and dine amidst outdoor wonder. Bison steak and sides were delish! Alexa the waitress was so bright and fun she added to the experience greatly. Highly recommend!

Everything was great except the most important part…we ordered our steaks medium-rare. My wife’s ribeye was medium, at best. My tenderloin was medium-well, at best. Hopefully just an off night because we’ve never had issues in the past.

The food was delicious and creative. The service was friendly and efficient. The quantity of food was very generous--more than you would expect of a high-quality restaurant. We staggered away from the table, but we were staying at the Galatin River Lodge, so we were able to enjoy an after-dinner stroll around the property (as did most guests).;

We had a wonderful dinner with an amazing view! Our server, Lizzie, was wonderful, as was the gal that was training with her. They made us feel welcome, and our dinner was superb. I would highly recommend dining at this establishment in such an incredibly beautiful setting.

This place is in a beautiful setting. The food was excellent. Most of all the staff was top-shelf. Alexia was our server and she was so attentive and helpful! If you are staying in Bozeman, your could not find a finer meal, setting, and service than Gallatin River Lodge Restaurant.

It had been over 4 years since dining at the Gallatin River Lodge. We anticipated greatness. It started off with jovial laughter as we ran into friends at the bar before heading to our table. Orders for drinks and two appetizers were taken quickly & our spirits were high. It was a lovely evening and we kept telling this to ourselves as we waited, & waited for any acknowledgment. After 45 minutes we finally got our drinks and the appetizers took another 10 minutes. Thank God we ordered our meals when our drinks arrived. The food, when it arrived was pretty good, yet not on par with our bill. Sadly Disappointing. We’ll try it again, yet only for happy hour.

One of the best meals I have had in Bozeman. Salads were fresh, the fish and chips were amazing. Everything was well prepared and not smothered in sauce. My husband throughly enjoyed the shrimp and scallops. Great service and incredible views. Can’t wait to go back.
