   We dined at the establishment several times during our stay at the ballantyne lodge and the quality of food was always very good. the service was knowledgeable, personable and prompt. They have a very impressive wine and whiskey selection. They even gave us complimentary dessert for our anniversary. Will be dining with them againm

   Everything was fantastic! The ambience is beautiful! We love the art on the walls and the beautiful dining room with the leaded glass windows. The service is impeccable. The food was delicious. They even have gluten free bread in the bread service. The bottle price for wines is a bit expensive. Overall we love dining at The Gallery Restaurant In the beautiful Ballantyne Resort Hotel!

   The food was excellent. I love the pastries. there was no wait time for my reservation. My table was already reserved. The food came out quickly as well for the occupancy levels.

   First, Natalie (the hostess) and Kenny (our server) were excellent. But for them, I would have been very displeased. Perhaps the restaurant was short-staffed, but it took too long for us to be seated (we had a reservation) while the table we were ultimately seated at remained empty (though dirty from last guests - again assuming they were short-staffed). I could overlook that; it happens. However, although Kenny our server was exceptional, it took for too long for the food to come out (just an omlette, waffles, a salad, and a kid's grilled cheese). It was also on the cold side. I did not find it was worth the money ($80.00 - only coffee and one apple juice to drink). This was our first time there. Overall, we were very disappointed.

    The atmosphere was awesome! The food was ok. Tried the duck breast but was not what I expected. The salmon was delicious. The service was outstanding!

    We went to The Gallery for a celebration lunch with a business partner. We were looking for a place for lunch that was local and upscale. The restaurant was lovely and elegant, perfect for our celebration. The menu is limited but had a decent array of selections. I had the steak frites which was cooked medium rare just as I ordered it. The service was great with constant attention to filling water glasses, giving us extra time to order and our meal being served within a reasonable amount of time. We never felt rushed and stayed a couple of hours. It's a bit pricey but the price matched the atmosphere, service, and quality and delicious food that we got.

    The menu and food has improved dramatically over the past several months. The waitstaff and service is phenomenal. The prices are about as fair as you can go. The noise level is great compared to other restaurants in the area. This is a favorite dining place for us.

    Service was 2nd to none. My only feedback is enforce a dress code for dinner after 6pm. You have couples dressed for a dinner together and teens in sweats.

    This was my first visit to the Gallery Restaurant at Ballentyne. It completly lived up to my expectations. The receptionist and server called me by my name which sets the tone for taking care of you. The food was excellent, though not necessarily miles above other upscale restaurants. The ambience was quiet, and attractive. I had an excellent cocktail, followed by the salmon, while my date had the scallops. We each had a desert, which were individually made on site rather than simply cutting a piece of something out of a box as many other restaurants do. It was a long walk from our table to the restrooms, but you can't have everything. lol I recommend the place highly.

    Fergus and Kenneth were excellent and made our experience phenomenal. Every thing was timed perfectly, and the food was impeccable. You could tell Fergus had a lot of experience serving and he did an excellent job at timing when each course hit the table and providing drink recommendations. All in all, an amazing experience. My girlfriend was really “wowed”, which made this Valentine’s Day even more special. Thank y’all for an exceptional dining experience!

    Went for the Valentines special menu. Spent around $550 for the both of us but it was worth it. 4 course meal, each meal paired with a glass of wine. One of the wines worth over $120. Every plate designed beautifully and the food was delicious. All worth the price for the special occasion. Will go back when they have the regular menu and see if I have a similar experience. But for a special occasion with the special menu... *CHEFS KISS*

    I had the short rib and it was delicious, but my wife had the scallops and that’s what I’m getting the next time. We were discussing what dessert to get when the waiter brought us a free miniature red velvet cake to help us celebrate our anniversary. The Brussels Sprouts appetizer was outstanding.

    Absolutely amazing experience! We celebrated my wife's birthday, and they were very detail oriented. They catered to my wife's dietary needs and was sure to make her aware everything was prepared without nuts as she has a nut allergy, and no land animals as she eats a pescatarian/vegetarian diet. The food was absolutely, amazing! Prepared perfectly, and paired amazingly with items we would have never thought to pair together. Definitely worth every penny! We will be back soon.

    The only suggestion is the “By the Glass” wine selection for Chardonnay. They did not have an Oaky, Smooth Chardonnay. I ended up buying a bottle of Stag’s Leap, Karia Chardonnay 2021. I had to take the rest of the bottle home.

    We waited 15 min for the waiter, we got nothing but water for another 15-20 minutes. Food is good, nothing surprising. The starter was better than main course.

    The service was mediocre as the waitress seemed rushed. The pork shank pasta was just ok, as the sauce overpowered flavor from the pork shank.

    Fergus was the most incredible server, along with the other wait staff. All four of us could not have enjoyed our three hour dining experience any more. The cuisine was delicious & presented beautifully. Everything about our evening was top notch.
