Prepare to be thrilled at this all-star Italian restaurant located off Ocean Highway in Pawleys Island, SC. Gios Italian Kitchen is family owned and operated since August 7th, 2014. Brothers/Chefs Klodjan & Renato Hoxha run the kitchen while the sister/GM Eri handles the front. Parents are also involved in the business operation on a daily basis. The Hoxha family was born in Albania and moved to the United States in 2003, seeking the American dream. The family has 17 years of experience in cooking. Our chefs make all the dishes with the freshest ingredients and highest quality of product. Gios serves the best marinara sauce and some of the tastiest authentic Italian dishes in the Grand Strand. We were greeted immediately by our server Taylor who took our drink order and reviewed the specials for the evening. Throughout the meal Taylor was available without being overbearing. She was friendly and at no time made us feel rushed although we were one of the last patrons to leave! The servings were ample, arrived hot and were as described either in the menu or by Taylor. There were no surprises and everyone was well satisfied with their selection. The bill for four diners with wine, the entrees, desserts and coffee was just shy of $300 including a substantial tip for the exceptional service.

Highly recommend this establishment. Excellent presentation, delicious food and great service. We sat at a bar table in the corner, ate, watched the game and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We topped off our meal with a slice of their cheesecake; magnifique!

The eggplant special was absolutely delicious and the basil martini was as well. Great service with an efficient but friendly staff. One of my favorite places in Pawleys Island for dinner.

Our second visit to Gio’s was as great as the first. Though we had to drive up from Mount Pleasant, it was 110% worth it. Food and ambience was great along with great service ( thank you Taylor !) Highly recommend Gio’s (but don’t tell too many friends ) as you’ll always want to get a good reservation there.

Their seafood pasta dishes are fresh and especially delicious ! Gio’s is a Pawleys gem of a restaurant with a diverse menu selection and super friendly service.

One of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time! We started off with the Verdure Grigliate which was excellent. Perfect arrangement of vegetables and goat cheese. For our meal, my husband and I both got the Sorrentino, I the chicken and him the veal. We agreed one of the tastiest dishes we’ve ever had. Topped it off with a cappuccino and lemon cake which was to die for. Cannot wait to go back!

Perfect place for dinner during our vacation in Pawley's. The food was amazing. My husband even enjoyed my left over Chicken Parm the next day!
