   Honestly I was disappointed with this meal. The food was just mediocre. The service was just ok. When we sat down at our table the silverware was dirty. Definitely was expecting a lot more.

   The best brunch in Western PA. You have to come hungry since it is rather pricey, but the choices are really good. Whether you want to eat healthy items or splurge on desserts, there is something for everyone.

   I came with a party of seven. I felt crowded in on our table, not much room. Although the food was very good, I do think the price was too much. If you had a people that ate a lot it might be worth it. I was very surprised that drinks were not included in the price for $42 a person. Everything should be included. for once in a while experience it was OK but I wouldn’t do it often. Maybe once every couple years

   This is a fantastic place for brunch. If you have out of town guests, they will love this place. There is so much to enjoy from the food, to the surroundings, to the service and the big smiles of the people who prepare and put food on your plate. Plenty to choose from. Almost too much!! Enjoy!

   It would have been nice to know the main dining room was closed for a private event when I made the reservation. The seating in the back room was fine but part of visiting the Grand Concourse is viewing the main room. The food was excellent as was the staff.

    One of the most beautiful dining rooms in Pittsburgh, or anywhere for that matter. Our lunch was fine, but not up to the quality of the space, and a better plate of pasta can be had more affordably at many Pittsburgh restaurants. The raw bar and daily catch are the best choices. Still, it's a classic and a reliable standby. Choose the main dining room over the riverside one; the latter has a view of the river and skyline, but that can be had at many other nearby restaurants, none of which have the luxurious stained glass barrel-vaulted marble-clad main space.

    The waiter was very friendly and helped us get the lay of the land because there is a lot of different stations. There's options for everyone, even the kids. It was a nice brunch.

    First of all I want to compliment our server. Due to the overall bad experience she was attentive and very pleasant. As far as the food experience it was below standards for this type of restaurant. Food was average and cold. We had one steak that came out very rare and was supposed to be medium. Quick fix would be 5 minutes on the grill and back to him. His dinner never came back out and we were all done eating. Manager finally came out with an apology however that did not make it right. He cancelled the meal. He had never been there and we probably won’t be back.

    Beautiful restaurant the food was divine and service was exceptional from our waiter Jason, he was very knowledgeable and patient with us, this will not be our last time here… everything was what I expected.

    Excellent overall. Beautiful ambience. Mahi Mahi special was superb. Great smoked Manhattan, one of the best I have had. The escargot, however, were very disappointing for a restaurant of that caliber. Very pedestrian. Not in shell, minimal garlic butter and quite tough. Would have definitely been 5 star if it wasn’t for that.

    We’ve been here once before and had an amazing time! However and unfortunately this times service was quite poor. Our server didn’t even come over to our table for the first 15 mins to get us water, we ate our first round without drinks, then if she did show up it was very sparse and we’d continue to have to ask for things. Once we were finished we sat there for another 15 mins waiting for her to reappear. Once we were done we asked for separate checks and she brought them over and we put our cards in, again unfortunately, when she brought them back she had changed the bills around which had me pay for my friends who had drinks when I did not, money wasn’t the problem it’s more along the line of why would you charge the wrong card when it was right when we put them in. We will be here again for the nice ambiance and food but we do hope that this was just a fluke with service.

    I ordered the mahi mahi from the menu. I inquired of my server if it could be prepared medium-rare. She checked with the cook who said they would only cook it well. Stupidly, I ordered it any way. What I got was dry, tough and tasteless. To her credit my server offered to replace it but since I had been warned, I felt bad ordering another entre. I won't be returning soon

    Took longer than usual just to get drinks upon our initial seating. My favorite items were disappointing. The Cajun chicken tortellini from the pasta bar was lukewarm at best. The apple dumpling were stale. We come often and this our first disappointing visit.

    Buffet is amazing. I am gluten free and the waiter brought the chef out to talk to me. The chef took me to all sections of the buffet to show me what I could eat. A lot of choices, more than I expected.

    When entertaining friends from out of town, would like to take them to some thing very unique to Pittsburgh! The Grand concourse is truly a special place! We have not had dinner there since the pandemic, and I am sorry to say that it is the first time we have ever been disappointed! We had a entree plate of the linguine and white clam sauce as an appetizer to share. While it was very tasty, it arrived barely warm. The salads and our server was very good. For over dinner entrées, the apple jack Seabass also arrived barely warm and the risotto that was the accompaniment was very undercooked. The crabcakes were definitely not up to par from previous crabcakes that we ordered pre-pandemic! We were shocked at how empty the restaurant was for a Friday evening! I hope that some thing can be done to improve the dining experience! I would really hate to see this amazing establishment fail!

    The ambiance is of deep wooden luxury. The hostess was very accommodating and welcoming. The service staff was exceptional and made the night everything we wanted it to be. I don’t like to report negativity, but I have to say the lobster was a bit too hard for my liking. I understand that it’s lobster tail but I love a succulent rock lobster. The cheesecake was absolutely delicious. You can taste the cheeses and the fresh authentic homemade cheesecake. The blueberry compote accompanied it perfectly. In closing, the service staff really rocked our night so much so, we can’t wait to go back.
