Bottomless is not the word to use for this experience. Service was very poor - drinks were taking 40mins plus to come out and we werent allowed to preorder drinks unless our glasses were empty. Disappointing as it's meant to be bottomless and we only got 4 cocktails out of the 2 hour sitting. I have been to multiple bottomless in Perth and the general rule is the waiter will always let you know how much longer you have or when the last drink is. We did not experience this. Our high tea started at 12.30pm but our drinks order did not get taken until 12.50pm. We went and ordered our last drink at 2.23pm to be told our session was over. Food wasn't too bad. Wish there was more food to nibble on while we waited for our drinks. Overall, thanks for the experience but I wouldn't come back.

I asked for my order to be delivered in order as follows. Spring Rolls, Soup and then Squid. The Squid came first. I asked the waitress to take it back which she did and in a polite manner.The spring rolls came and were excellent. Similarly the soup. Then she brought the squid dish and it was the same one as before. It was cold. I asked for a new one in its place. Again the waitress was polite and took it back. However what I then got was the same dish that had either been in a microwave or reheated again in an oven. As a result the squid was overcooked and tasted like rubber. I left both the dish and restaurant. The chef is or was either incompetant or an idiot. On all other occasions I have enjoyed my dining experience there. R.W.WOSS A.M.

We always look forward to dining at the Orient before we see a performance at His Majesty theatre. The food and service is excellent. Five star dining experience at reasonable prices.

Average food particularly San Choi Bow, Peking duck was good. They missed a dish - ordered spring rolls which never came. However we forgot about it and didn’t bring it to their attention. I’m sure they would’ve rectified it. For the price definitely much better food around. Ambience is excellent

We were impressed by restaurant décor and furnishing of the place. The rest of the experience was hit-and- miss. The staff was lacking in communicating the details of high tea arrangement, Most of the dishes were very tasty but dessert options were very creamy. Mocktails options were one dimensional except one (we have tried tree out of four available)

Best Chinese food in Perth. Delicious and fresh. The duck was moist. The sweet and sour pork succulent and meaty squid tentacles. Loads of tasty fried rice with decent size prawns too and the beers ice cold

We wanted to have a whole Peking Duck but was told we could only have half as there were three of us. When does a restaurant dictate what we can have? 😡 The portions of the other dishes gave us an impression that they are 30% smaller than normal to offset the lunch 30% discount. We had a much better meal when we were here last month and were looking forward to another good meal. After this experience we are in no hurry to make a return visit.

Tonight foods were delicious, the service was very good, only car park issues as the area is in the city and quite long distance to the closer public building parking area. If you are lucky enough only 3 spots free car park after 6pm in front of the building.

Beautiful Deco! We ordered ala carte, the Peking duck 1st course was outstanding, 2nd course of sang choy pao was a little bland. Had better elsewhere. Hubby ordered Crispy whitebait, this came looking great but needed more punch, maybe salt or chillie or something. The other entree of Squid tentacles with S&P was not bad. Found the batter was a little heavy and lacked the S&P. Best dish was the Waygu beef with Himalayan salt...delish. Service was outstanding except the kitchen forgot to cook a dish! The team were very apologetic and offered us complimentary desserts. Apart from the kitchen mishap, we enjoyed the night as we could actually talk without shouting to each other! We'll be back!

This was our second visit we love the decor and ambiance of this restaurant, we enjoyed a very nice French rose and the wine list offered many choices. The food was a little disappointing we had duck 2 ways and found it fatty in the pancakes and chewy in the san Choi bao. The other courses were adequate but didn’t blow me away.

Wonderful experience. It's a bit expensive but you pay for what you get. I think it's the best Chinese restaurant in Perth at the moment. I waiter Daniel is very friendly. The food is great!

Plates inc serving plates were all cold. Food did not come out all together but a bit of a wait between dishes. Singapore noodles were quite tasteless. Chicken dish was very nice tho. Fried rice ok too. Not a terrible experience, but for the price you pay, it was quite disappointing….and not as good as our previous experience last year

Awful service. One order arrived very fast and the rest of us waited for 35 min before our course arrived. No way to find a waitress to have some more water. Food was good. Not a word of excuses from the staff.

The food was good but not exceptional which is how I recall it from previous visits. We had the peking duck along with some other dishes and I don't think the flavour was there in the san chow bow, rather tasteless. This was also the same with the salt and pepper squid which had now flavour so I think they forgot the salt and pepper and it was chewy.

Lighting setting was a little bit dim however we were greeted when we first entered. Service was good, serving and wait time was good too. We ordered yee fu mee which was a little bit bland, however the fried tooth fish, salted egg yolk prawn, black pepper beef and truffle fried rice was good. Overall experience was a pleasant dining.

Almost all dishes we ordered were overly salty. I guess you’re really paying for the ambience at the prices that the restaurant is charging for the food.
