   The service was very slow, the food overall was very good except for the fried artichoke app. It was so odd and messy I was so surprised it was on the menu.

   Lovely decor and setting. Buttermilk chicken with creamed potato and green berms drizzled in honey, was quite an ‘interesting’ taste combination!

   group of 4 on a saturday evening. we sat outside near the pool. very relaxed. service was great- servers were very attentive. Food and drinks were very good. nice gathering spot in a fun location. View of city can be cool if you get up and walk to the other side of the pool- so if you are looking for city view this isn't it. But still a great pato place to gather w. friends.

   For Sunday brunch, my friends and I waited for almost 45 minutes at this place and ended up leaving. We had a reservation at 11:45, and the place was not busy at all during that time; they had many open tables. They were not short-staffed either. I had to tell the hostess that our waitress has not come to our table at all to get our orders after 30 minutes of being seated. The hostess told us twice that she was coming to take our order soon, but that never happened. The two tables seating near us got their orders taken first. This place seems to be managed poorly. This was a horrible experience! We need a group therapy after this. Pun extremely intended.

   We took my daughter here for her birthday dinner. We were seated promptly. The service was fast and friendly. The ambiance was great!!! The restaurant and hotel were decorated beautifully and many "INSTAGRAMMABLE" spots for the perfect pictures. I highly recommend and will be back when visiting Austin.

    Birthday dinner for wife. Beautiful atmosphere, both inside the restaurant, and outside by the pool, watched the sunset of pink and orange dip behind the skyscrapers. When night came, the skyscraper windows lit up, and there was an excellent view of the cityscape. Valet was excellent and super nice. The food was pricier than a chain restaurant (obviously), but not too terribly bad; not someplace to go on a budget, but really for a special occasion. The food quality was excellent (got the poké bowl and the birria sandwich), the portions large (and bonus for allowing to-go). Drinks and cocktails are, as expected, pricey (lowest price for one of the specialties was $17-$18), but well made. The service all around was superb: valet, hostess, server (who we felt bad for troubling her, asking if we could move outside because we wanted to see the skyline). Attentive, checked up regularly, very pleasant demeanor. If you’re going to use valet, you won’t be charged the $20 fee for valet use as long as you’re eating at the restaurant or staying at the hotel - if you’re going just for a parking space, you will need to pay the charge. Overall, great experience and really enjoyed it, as it was our first time there. Will definitely go back, and bring family & friends. Too dark for photos of the food, as the outdoor lighting was too dark and a camera flash wouldn’t have done it justice.

    Five of us had brunch at Group Therapy on Saturday. 4 of us had the “make your own omelette” and the other had the pancakes. Everyone was very happy with the omelettes. Each one was correctly made (ingredients and options). They were served hot and plated nicely. The pancakes were very good. There were also 3 lattes and 1 coffee in our group order. All of the lattes were perfect and the coffee was good. A very nice experience! Also it is a very pretty setting to have brunch. Very friendly waitstaff.

    We were waited on by multiple people - no one was very friendly or inviting. We almost felt like we were inconveniencing the staff to ask for another drink. Had a hair in my food - the item still showed up on the tab. There was no apology or reconciliation for that happening. Not a great experience, probably will not return.

    Free valet parking! Great ambiance and food. Drinks were a bit expensive. Would highly recommend the barria sandwich!

    I love an expresso martini. They have 3 different options of an expresso martini and they’re so delicious!!! I had a wedge salad which was good. The lamb pops were the perfect appetizer and were very delicious as well. Overall I enjoyed the experience and would go back again when I visit Austin.

    The food was great. Really loved the crispy Brussel sprouts. Great salmon. Super calamari. After we finished the calamari they picked up our forks but did not bring new ones so when our dinner arrived we had no utensils. Very difficult to flag down our waiter. Had to grab another server to help. Very very loud so difficult to have table conversation but that is also part of the vibe. High energy & trendy.

    I came here for my 31st birthday dinner with my girlfriends. This place was so cute! The drinks are a little more pricey than normal Austin drinks but they were very good nonetheless. We enjoyed the appetizers and our dinners. We came on a Sunday evening and it wasn’t busy at all. I would definitely recommend this place.

    Outside is not a place to try to eat a plated meal. The tables are far too low and the seating uncomfortable. Outside would be a fine place to have a cocktail while watching your kids splash in the pool. I ordered a dip sandwich made with barbacoa. It was dry and uninspired, bordering on fair food. Meat, bread, dip, with a side of crunchy string fries. The old fashioned I ordered was decent but insipidly sweet. The interior ambiance looked nice and I should have asked to be seated there. It seemed to me more of a place young people go to be seen, rather than to have an exceptional culinary experience. All that said, it is not a short menu for a cabana bar and perhaps the other dishes were much better. But I'm not likely to go out of my way to find out.

    The drinks were very good but I would not recommend the food. The portions were smallish relative to the price and the overall taste was so-so. I'm glad I tried it but I will probably not be back for dinner because there are simply better options elsewhere.

    The hotel and restaurant was a fabulous new experience for the rest of my group of four. Long time Austinites they thought they knew all the best spots. I knew Group Therapy would be a welcomed surprise. Drinks and food were outstanding. The waitstaff were the perfect amount of attentive and unobtrusive, giving us time and space to have a proper visit. It was a slower than usual night from my past visits but that didn’t detract from the experience. Thank you! Linda

    Our second visit to Group Therapy (we live locally) and it's been enjoyable both times. Being in a hotel, it's fairly casual with a laid-back atmosphere and an excellent view out the large windows forming the west wall (if you're facing that direction). Service both times was just slightly off kilter, but nothing major and our orders were put in and delivered acceptably quickly. The Mexican Martini was superb, with a nice selection of other cocktails and some interesting wines. I just wish Group Therapy (and most restaurants in Texas) would feature one or more Texas wines (some of which are truly world-class), instead of 100% imports and out-of-state wines. Regardless, we had a delightful New Year's Day lunch and we'll be back soon!

    Group therapy was amazing last night for New Year’s Eve! Our server James was the best, he gave us great recommendations on what to order and was very friendly!! Thank you James!! I got the cucumber and tomato salad with chicken on top and the mushroom bruschetta which were both amazing. My bf got the crispy chicken and it was honestly one of the best fried chicken dishes we’ve ever had! I had been before but not recently, and we had an amazing time!
