The $49 steak was cooked correctly (med rare), but there was too much pepper put on it. Honestly, a great state does not need any pepper put on it. It was a filet mignon wrapped in bacon, and the bacon had no crisp to it. Also, there were these stringy fried onions over it, which was unnecessary and honestly overwhelming. Broccolini was cooked correctly and inappropriate amount of butter. Honestly, a great state does not need any pepper put on it.

Food always great. The server this time was new, needs a little more training. Usually the service is top notch, it was good but not great. We sat on the lower patio this time…pretty but a lot of bugs. I was concerned about the yellow jackets. We will go back!

Wonderful comfort food and small plates in a sort of saloon setting with a full bar. Wonderful service. Both indoor and patio seating. Was here several months ago and was not disappointed this time either.

This was my third time there since last Sunday! Consistently good! I have tried a different lunch item each time. We are going back for dinner with friends on Tuesday. It must be GOOD!

Delicious food, excellent service, great outdoor patio. Staff always friendly and they are always eager to provide sauces and dressings on the side, sandwiches with less sauce, etc. They are always quick with additional water or iced tea refills. Great onion rings!

Very good comfort food in a charming setting. Although located in a shopping mall, it’s a large property with indoor, outdoor and covered patio with plenty of seating. Nice bar selection and hot fresh food. Had the chicken pot pie. Unique and delicious. Meat loaf good too. Service was friendly and efficient. Server Sarah G was very charming. Will be back on next visit to Atascadero.

Great restaurant in Atascadero. The menu is varied and everyone in our 4 person party ordered a different entree. Everyone raved about their dish. The soup or salad that accompanies the entree was outstanding and makes the food very affordable.
