    The food was okay not the best. The lettuce that came in the side dish had dirt on it. They were not washed properly so we had to return it. I usually look forward to Kimchi at Korean bbq but it was a big let down. The serving of Kimchi was very little and we asked for a top up and they said it was sold out while they were happy to top up Kimchi for other tables. Other than the staff very friendly.

    I made the weekday lunch booking online, was asked to confirm the booking and received a thankyou note for dining at the restaurant. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed. Apparently, It's always closed for lunch during the week. Yet you can still book a table. Someone needs to talk to the computer.

    It was a beautiful dinner, very filling. All the side dishes were delicious, varied and plenty. We will be back, however I don't recommend an 8.30pm booking, as they basically kick you out at 9pm...

    Didn't realise how expensive it was going to be, and the menu is confusing. I guess when they don't put prices on their online menu it is a sign. If you don't want to cook anything, there isn't much choice. I would like a meat and vegetable cooking option that didn't cost $287. Just two proteins and some vegetables without the soup or other additions. Overall, in my opinion, it is not as good as KorBQ in the city.

    Afraid this was one of my all time worst dining experiences. Table was in the cold draft. The charcoal didn't make the hot plate hot enough, taking ages for the food to cook. The vegetables hardly cooked at all. The (very expensive) king prawns seemed to have been freeze/thawed (maybe several times) and were inedible and floury; no bowels or implements were provided to peel/devein them, and we had to improvise finger bowls out of salad dishes and table water. The waygu beef brisket was tasteless. The side dishes were undistinguished. Was anxious about kitchen hygiene aspect of handling uncooked and cooked food for whole table with only one set of tongs. A very disappointing experience, particularly given the cost.

    My wife and I base out review on comparing this particular restaurant to a Korean BBQ restaurant we went to in Sydney. Same price but what we got was quite different in the quantity and variety of side dishes. Overall we were pleased with all aspects of the restaurant and will recommend to friends and return ourselves.

    The overall experience was good, so thank you Hanok for a great dinner! There was however a somewhat vague explanation of how to best cook the meat so had to rely on our own intuition there, and the menu was not clear about what side dishes accompanied the meal. Would also appreciate smaller serves of fried chicken to be better portioned as side dishes.

    Very friendly restaurant. Every staff is so helpful and polite. The food are so delicious especially those pickle side dishes come with the order.

    I hate doing this but possibly there the only way they’ll have an opportunity to make a few changes. For newbies there was no guidance on how to bbq, not even a card with bullet points. No plates or knives to cut up the steaks, no room to fit the basics on the table. The meat was so fatty it just spat everywhere and was just oozing with fat. We thought this might be a healthy meat and veg bbq experience…. Nooo. No kids menu, had to request rice for the kids, was told to order them deep fried chicken it was horrible chicken cuts and grissle deep fried and greasy. We spent almost $230 for 5 and came out hungry. Such a shame and the bbq in front of the kids was cool but it was so fatty and tasteless it was depressing. The staff were nice but not overly helpful when they saw we were confused, I did ask several questions and for an extra set of tongs. I’d recommend a how to bbq card, plates, kids menu, some chicken if people find the wagyu too fatty. Lots of veg and some nice sauces to cook with. Possibly also aprons I had to keep my coat on as the front doors were wide open and it got covered in fat. Brand new open so I’m sure you’ll be able to improve. We won’t be back it was beyond disappointing. Sorry

    The food was magnificent and the staff was friendly and accommodating. There was confusion over which grill plates should be used for which meats as it hadn’t been explained to us prior to starting but a small hiccup in an otherwise fantastic meal. We will definitely be back.

    Service is slow. We did not pay but they said we paid. So I went back to pay - I left for toilet and my husband left with kids later being told it was paid. There was no more receipt so we were asked to recall what we ordered. The Last order of rice came so late that the kids did not want to eat anymore. When we were waiting for the rice the manager asked us if we could leave as people are waiting (politely) - it is understandable that this is how restaurant make more money. But it is not even close to the service in Dickson.
