The Hill St. Summer Lounge Experience. It's about inspiring a journey of human connection that starts with a great coffee and maybe something 'sweet'. A lot has changed since we started life as an independent chocolatier in 2015, but our focus on quality of ingredients and fresh, natural, flavours has remained – from our coffee, chocolate, pastry and gelato - all hand crafted and served by a wonderful team of people with love and attention to detail.

Please note our freshly made patisserie is only on Saturdays and Sundays.

We have a number of seats indoors and outdoors with a terrace adjoining Jubilee Gardens.

Bookings :

Monday-Saturday: 9.00am-10.00am, 11.00am-12.00pm, 13.00pm-14.00pm & 15.00pm-16.00pm

Sunday: 10.30am-11.30am, 12.30pm-13.30pm, 14.30pm-15.30pm

Please note we are closed the first three weeks of August.

We visited this Lounge twice within a week. An excellent light lunch. Staff helpful and efficient and food/coffee/chocolate very good. Happy to recommend Hill Street Lounge.

Pastries overcooked and poor selection it is too formal for a coffee shop and yet not a restaurant. Pity, they try hard

Lois, we are sorry to read your review. Further to your comment regarding our pastries, certainly if something is brought to our attention that didn’t meet our customers expectations we would always aim to resolve, quality is paramount to us. We had overwhelming positive feedback on our Freshly made patisserie in the summer months but are sorry your experience didn’t match this. We hope you do try again in the future. Very Best.
