Welcome to Hobart's;

The best choice for steak restaurant dining in Lindsay, Kawartha Lakes, and the greater Peterborough area.

Hobart's is named for Hobart F. Peters, Ph.D. who spent his career in animal research; a quest for the best in beef cattle production. The steaks served at the restaurant that bears his name are the finest anywhere. If Hobart was with us today, we’re certain he would agree.

We Promise

•Our steaks will be exclusively Certified Angus Beef®

•Our portions will be plentiful

•Our hot food will be very hot; our cold foods fresh

•Our desserts will be unique and delicious

•Our quality will be consistently high

•Our atmosphere will be clean and comfortable always

•And above all: Our concern for our guests will be genuine

Good service in a quiet part of the restaurant. My steak was excellent, but the eggplant that others had was disappointing .
Hobart's Steakhouse - PeterboroughRespondió el 10 de junio de 2019
We appreciate the comments David. I trust you alerted the server about your dissatisfaction with the eggplant. If there is anything we can do to make up for it being less than 100% please reach out to me at info@hobarts.ca - Frank Peters - Operations Manager

We had the Chateaubriand and it was excellent, salad was great and the amuse bouche was delightful. As it was our birthday's that week, we had dessert on the house, which was excellent. Great service.

Beautiful little steakhouse! Brought my boyfriend here for his birthday and I was so pleased to see that they had vegetarian options as well so that I wasn't stuck eating a salad!! The service was phenomenal, definitely would recommend for a nice evening out!

We go quite often. It is smaller and quiet. A nice place for a group too. Quality steaks and fine dining. We like this better than the keg as you can have a nice conversation.

Had a lovely dinner - prime rib was delicious. We were too full for dessert, but could not resist sharing a couple between the four of us; they were both amazing! Would recommend to friends and will be back!
