Outstanding food and service once again. We always make a dinner reservation at Houlme whenever on Orcas Island, and the experience never disappoints. The sauces and small dishes are exceptional, the pizza is among my favorites anywhere. Thank you to Jay and the team for another wonderful experience- we'll be back next year!

We went to Houlme for my wife’s birthday. We were late for a reservation, but they set us immediately and we were presented with some of the best pizza and the best hotdog I have ever had!

We got the hay smoked tuna, the carrots and the fall vegetable group to start. All were SO amazing - way beyond our expectations. I just wish bread came with it to sop up the wonderful sauces. We got 3 different pizzas and I heard all were great. I, personally, found the green sauce with salami pizza so delicious, I didn't try any other kind. The service was welcoming, attentive, but not cloying, and kind. My only advice is, get your reservations in early.

Ever changing menu to match currently available produce and proteins makes this place one that you can frequent frequently and not be disappointed. Chef is creative, staff are welcoming and the place was packed. Highlights of the dinner were the salmon and the carrots and the chocolate encased buttermilk ice cream. And of course the pizzas!

We had a wonderful meal at Houlme and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Orcas island. The food feels unique and creative but not so experimental that it sacrifices being plain delicious and something you would want to eat often. I loved a dish called Fall Things and the sourdough pizza crust--I wish I took a picture of the menu so I could describe these better but you can't go wrong with them--the pizza version we had was topped with cheese, caramelized onions and hot honey and it was delicious though I do think anything they put on that crust will be good! Our server was so warm and welcoming and she made it a lovely experience overall. I hope to come back one day.

Blown away by the incredible service and food. We had the carrots with smoked yoghurt, the summer things with the succulent egg dusted with dill, pizza, and the buttermilk ice cream. Every bite was delicious and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. I cannot wait to comeback.
