Houston White Co.
Absolutely the best experience. Atmosphere was awesome and food was amazing.
Online menu nothing like the actual menu. Food was good and well prepared but very expensive. Libations also very pricey. Wanted steak but ordered salmon.
Everything was wonderful.
Utterly blissful dining experience. Extremely friendly and knowledgable staff, beautiful ambiance. The menu may seem sparse, but that’s because every item is prepared with the utmost care and at the highest level. Hands down, best steaks in the state. Lovely date night for the wife & I.
We frequent Houston White but had never celebrated Valentines Day there. The service, cocktails, appetizers and entrees were all delicious which can be tough to pull off on a holiday like that. The menu was paired down for the holiday and our favorite steak was not on it but we were still extremely happy with all of our choices. We will be back.
Always a fabulous meal! Very high quality beef, prepared perfectly. Wonderful wine list.
I know, love, and cook decent steaks. However this was a bad experience with a fatty, very expensive Delmonico cut ribeye. I expected much better service and quality for the price and number of stars. Nobody ever offered me pepper and I couldn't find it anywhere - ended up mistaking the brown salt for pepper (I don't eat salt). Killer was the steaks were thin and fatty for $$$$, otherwise I would have had a much different review.
Great place for a special occasion! Food and service were excellent! Everyone was very welcoming and pleasant. Highly recommended!!
Excellent bar none! Highly recommend a stop & make reservations
Food and service exceeded our expectations. The owner Megan is an inspiration for quality food, excellent service and exceptional ambiance in her restaurant. Thank you and looking for our next dining experience with you and your staff! Love Chuck and Chad!
Houston/White is truly an outstanding steak house and it always is special night when we dine there—-from cocktails to lobster bisque to steaks....
Although we recently chose this venue for Valentines Day and once again it confirms my thought to avoid even the best restaurants on holidays....
Felt rushed, kind of lacked the regular personal touch, filete was served cool, not hot...
Just a mediocre holiday dinner experience, but I underscore that our visit this week dies not diminish our live for the restaurant——just avoid the ‘bums rush’ of the holiday encounter.....
Great food, but way over priced. They charge for condiments too!! Crazy crud. If it was on the water - overlooking the water, maybe it would have been better. Our waitress failed too. There was a waiter that served one table over, that blew her away. Sorry, not coming back.
Let me preface this by saying I am from NY where quality steakhouses are a dime a dozen. The food here is good but not on the same level. The menu is very limited. Not the same menu shown on Open Table and not a single steak with a bone which my husband likes. We were there on a Saturday night and it took over an hour to get our food. As for service, we were seated promptly but it took a while before anyone even came over to us. The server was very nice and apologetic once she came over. She even brought us a complementary Caesar salad but I don't like Caesar salad so a refill of wine would have been appreciated more. This being said, the choices for a steakhouse in Rehoboth are limited. If I went back it would be on a week night.
A perfect night, made perfect by excellently prepared food , knowledgeable and fun staff, and an invested manager. We shared the fromage plate, which had wonderful flavors. The entrees were perfect, but the Louisiana fried chicken was of special note. This meal should be a regular on the menu. Clearly the best chicken entree around. We were talked in to the carrot cake and loved it! Thanks to Sarah, Meghan, Petey and Joey. Magic night.
Best place in RB for a high end experience. Megan has outdone herself!
Our Dinner was Excellent ! The service was outstanding, attentive but not intrusive. I would highly recommend Houston White Co. It was a little pricey, however, the Food and the Atmosphere are worth the cost of a memorable experience!!
Overall we had a lovely experience. There were a few issues, but those were promptly addressed by AngeI by resolving the issues, comping us a few extras. Thanks to Angel and our server, Jake for their professionalism and attention to the issues.
Good service and excellent food. Steaks were amazing. Will definitely be back!!
Our dining experience was one of the best ever. A New York style steakhouse with modest prices, what more could you ask for. The cuts of meat was top notch and a lot of bang for your buck with side sizes. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The cocktails balanced and perfectly chilled. We highly recommend and know you will enjoy Houston White Co. as much as we have.
Always a treat going to Houston White. The food, service, and ambience makes for a top tier steak house. Megan runs a first class organization. Let’s not forget her jewel of a restaurant in Rehoboth, La Fable.
Chuck & Joanne Ward
Excellent cuts of steak! Service is excellent as well. Would like to see a bit more variation in the menu . More appetizer choices. Would also like the option of exchanging the baked potato that comes with each steak entree with a vegetable.
A steak restaurant the likes of Ruth's Chris in small resort beach town. Sides, entree', and biscuits equally enjoyable.
We Love Houston White and Staff!! JAKE is awesome!! THANK YOU!!!
The food was amazing. You definitely need a reservation. We will be going back.
Would have been 5 star rating if seating wasn't close. We will definitely be back!!
Prices are in line with fine Steakhouse dining.
A very nice experience with finely crafted dishes with good quality and quantity .We usually eat seafood when we are at our beach house and if we have steaks they are at 1776 Steakhouse since our bad experiences at Sullivan's in Wilmington we are on the lookout for other Steakhouses.
Although seating is rather close for our tastes we had a window 2 top at the front and it served us well.
Their toppings are all on the side which is most excellent.
Filet 43.00 with Bearnaise on the side 5.00 was perfect and the Baked Potato was salted perfectly with sour cream on the side 1.00.Cathy had Butternut Ravioli and we shared a large Chocolate Mouse filled Cake 11.00.
Our server was very attentive and helpful while being unobtrusive
Near the end of our meal the owner ,Megan, introduced herself and we had a very nice complementary conversation.
Megan said only open on weekends in the winter.
Lovely dining experience, fantastic dinner-would definitely go back.
The food was excellent. I had the butternut ravioli--it was amazing. And the sauteed mushrooms table share was also very good.
Food fantastic..::service is can be better
The guy is good tho....lady isnt
bartender is excellent
New Years Eve
Very attentive, food cooked to perfection
Great little spot with a good selection of quality steaks.
Portions were small and menu choices limited. Did not meet my overall expectations
Our Christmas Eve dinner was fantastic! The service was very good and the cocktails and food were delicious as always. We rarely get dessert but it was worth every single calorie. We will definitely be back but please bring back the tomahawk and Kansas City steaks, those are our favorites!
Consistently, they serve the best steaks I've had. Medium rare was perfectly prepared. Service was attentive without being invasive. This is somewhere I always feel comfortable going for a special occasion , knowing that it will be an excellent experience.
Christmas Eve. Food was superb. Filet and salmon were perfectly cooked. Side dresses tasty. Waiter, Brian, was knowledgeable, polite, and friendly.
Best restaurant around. Every employee makes your dining experience delightful.
Service was impeccable and ambiance was perfect. This was our first time dining here and loved every minute of it. The filet and ribeye were delicious and the bearnaise was the best I have ever had. Add on a lobster tail!
Biscuits and butter... I could have eaten an entire basket.
We can’t wait to go back.
For whatever reason the 7:00 pm reservation is never available on Open Table even though they are not booked. Thus we had to make a 7:30 reservation. We got there early at 7:00 and there was hardly anyone there. They didn’t seat us for a table so we had to wait at the bar. Once seated at our table at 7:30, the food and service was just ok. Not special. Too expensive for what it was. My first time there will probably be my last.
