My food wasn't great and our waitress forgot to pack up our leftovers. The ambiance was lovely and we still had fun overall. I wouldn't necessarily recomend to anyone though.

Our entire group had the best experience dining at Idlewyld. Drink selection is great, from local brew to wines from the best regions. The dinner menu was exquisite! Thoughtfully planned dishes with so much flavour!

Beautiful Inn , excellent staff and the food was top notch. It’s the 1st time we stayed in a room that actually had 2 robes, extra blankets and 2 luggage racks. I never understood why so many accommodations would supply one of each and not 2 when you have 2 people in a room. I commend the management here.

Overall excellent experience. Our main course was one of the best we have had at a restaurant in a long time. It was my wife's 60th birthday and they gave us a free chocolate cake with candle. Server also took our photo. It took a little longer to get my desert and since we ordered coffee when my wife got her cake it got a little cold. Instead of a top up when my desert came, we got new coffees in warmer cups. Outstanding service and wonderful atmosphere for a quit dinner out.

An absolutely stunning property , we were wowed the moment we walked in the door. The ambiance is incredibly elegant without being stuffy, and the service was attentive and impeccable (she was very witty as well!) Our group had the lamb and seafood linguine as entrees, both of which were exceptional. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend!
