    Authentic Italian restaurant. Service was good and food was lovely. The garlic mushrooms were to die for and the bruschetta was a very large portion. Pizza crust was light with lots of topping and lasagne was very tasty. House red wine was also good. Very welcoming and would thoroughly recommend.

    Not the warmest of welcomes. Place is a little run down but did not come for the decor. House wine is best avoided - tasted like someone was missing the antifreeze from their car! Pizza was ok but nothing more than that. Was cheap but, if honest, is best avoided.

    This little family run Italian is so authentic and serves delicious food! I had a gluten free base pizza and even it was tasty!

    Gezellig, knus, informeel. Prima voor een pizza of pasta. Ondanks dat het razend druk was en alle tafeltjes bezet, werd het eten redelijk snel geserveerd. Alleen verwarring over reservering, er leek sprake te zijn van dubbele boekingen

    We made our booking through open table but the maître d was quite rude when we arrived & pointed our party of four to a table with two seats and hardly any space. The food was delicious but the service was terrible, up to the point where he realised we were actually ordering a range of drinks, dessert etc. Mainly because we were on holiday and wished to treat ourselves. At the end he stated the service fee was not included, which I found strange as it was the first restaurant in Amsterdam that had stated that. Being Australian, it is not customary for us to tip, but we added 10% because of his information. I think he decided we were American tourists keen to tip. Later, I checked online and realised it is Dutch law to give a full bill in a restaurant and not require a tip. So, beware, this obnoxious man preys upon tourists. It was the only meal in Amsterdam that left me feeling unhappy. Everyone else we met was so kind & polite & friendly.

    After making a reservation through Open table we were told by a rather rude waiter that we couldn’t dine that evening as they had no tables.

    A very nice place with a good selection of Italian basics at a reasonable price. Service was also good. The restaurant was not very busy which can be a plus in a very busy area.

    Zoals in andere recensies stond: typisch Italiaans. Goed eten gecombineerd met ‘Fawlty towers’ achtige toestanden. Een leuke ervaring die ons verblijf in Amsterdam verrijkte.

    Waited over an hour for just the appetizer, which was a soup. The one server was clearly stressed and we felt really bad for her but the establishment should hire a busser/runner to not overwork her.

    Nice family run Italian. You have to be prepared family style service, but just go with it.....it works. Uncomplicated. Loved it !

    They had just reopened after renovations so it was a little weird. I do wish that would have been disclosed on the front end, but overall, the staff was super friendly and I expect as they finish up the final touches, the overall experience will improve.

    Small Italian restaurant in the heart of Amsterdam, not sure what to expect when we walked in, but the food was great, at very reasonable prices, our waiter recommended a great wine, their tiramisu with a serving of limoncello to end the evening was perfect, highly recommended.

    Great place and amazing Italian food. The service was very friendly and they got excellent options for Italian wines. Many options also are suitable for vegetarians, vegans and the gluten-free diet. I had a very good bufala avocado pizza and it was great, the next time I will try some pasta dishes. The restaurant has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Price is very honest and the location is just in the centre of Amsterdam.

    We chose this restaurant based on the the previous strong reviews, and we were sadly disappointed. Our group had an array of entrees including pizza, pasta and salad and non of them rated above two stars. The service was SLOW and not attentive. There was only one waiter for the entire restaurant. Avoid this place. There are MUCH better restaurants in Amsterdam!

    Within 25 minutes walking distance of our hotel. Excellent food and the service was outstanding!!! Would definitely return on next visit to Amsterdam
