We were staying at the hotel across the way and it was a rainy night, we showed up an hour before closing and as people who come from this industry, we don’t really like doing that . The staff immediately set us at ease. From the moment we sat down and Kaylee approached our table. It was the most positive experience. She was so lovely, engaging and helpful. We were shocked when the food came out because we couldn’t believe the portions, especially at that price. Initially, when I looked at the menu, I thought it was on the pricey side. It absolutely is not. You get more than your money‘s worth and that coupled with the ambience and excellent staff will definitely keep this restaurant as a top choice when visiting the area. Extra points for Kaylee!

Thank you for visiting on a rainy night and for sharing this lovely review. We know arriving an hour before closing can be stressful, so we are so glad our staff set you at ease and that one of our team members made the meal enjoyable. It is great to hear you found the portions generous and the value excellent. We appreciate you choosing us and hope to be a top choice when you return.

Dining room was pleasant and well lit. Music from the bar side was a bit too loud. Wait for food service was a little long. Food was not very well seasoned and chicken was a bit dry.

Service was good. Atmosphere was nice. Drinks were inconsistent. The food was just average. It’s a nice looking place but nothing special. Would look else where if in the area again.

Seafood pasta was amazing. Both people in our party weren’t happy with the quality of their steaks. In past visits they were very pleased with their steaks.

This review is solely for the Murder Mystery Dinner event on May 30th. We LOVE Jackson’s. It’s our go to for a great meal and environment. The pork chops with bacon jam are simply amazing. So, we didn’t hesitate when they were hosting a murder mystery dinner event. It was $70 per person with the gratuity and all fees were added in we paid a total of @180$ for 2 people. It was a cash bar so we came into this expecting to pay a ln additional for the evening. I write reviews good and bad please look at my profile. I have to be honest this was pretty rough. The production of the “murder mystery” was pretty bad. There were so many character names it was quite confusing. The storyline itself didn’t make much sense. And it was RUSHED! It started at 6pm and we the room was empty and torn down by 8pm. We were not half way through eating and were told that the show would start back up soon and to finish up. It felt as if the host has a meeting he had to get to or something. The room had numerous empty tables proof that many tickets did not sell. It would have been better to remove the empty tables for tickets that did not sell than to stretch 20-25 people across a big event room. The buffet was “eh”. Jackson’s salmon is always great so it was on point but the chicken marsala was not great. We had green beans, roasted potato wedges and salad, that had no veggies in it but only green. There were rolls. Soft drinks consisted of canned soda. There was coffee that was cold, not tepid but cold. The dessert “table” consisted of rice crispy treats, and lemon bars and the tray was empty before everyone had a chance to grab one. The evening did not stand up to Jacksons typical food & environment that we have come to expect. We will not attend another murder mystery dinner. However, definitely back to Jacksons for their typical menu and service.

We appreciate you sharing your May 30 Murder Mystery Dinner experience. We are glad Jackson’s is your go-to and that you loved the pork chops with bacon jam and the salmon. We are sorry the performance felt confusing and rushed, the room layout was awkward, and the buffet, coffee, and dessert service fell short. We appreciate the detailed feedback and hope you will enjoy our regular menu again soon.
