   I book my reservation a month advance and I am a little disappointed. The cocktails were amazing. Food is basically how I predict an expensive place is, but I didn’t like the sauce in the lamb chops. The food took almost a hour since we sat down because I think the oven is broken or something was broken. Fries were good for steak fries and happy we got it for free for the inconvenience of the wait for the food. I think our server was in training but he did better than a lot of servers I have seen in restaurants. He checked on us a lot, polite, and accommodating. It was loud also

   We had the deviled eggs, new york strip, fries and the sauce sampler. it was amazing. they went above and beyond to make our birthdays memorable! cant wait to go back

   Everything from the onset was great. The bar was awesome while we waited on our table and the bartender was really excellent. The only negative was our server, Chris. He must have been having a bad day. The communication was difficult and there may have been a complete personality clash on our end. I got the sense he was really knowledgeable around the food and menu and simply wanted to be someplace else. It was a topic of discussion at our table and it was too bad that such a lovely experience got overshadowed by a people issue. Seems easily avoidable.

   Simply very, very good. One of the best steaks I’ve had in my life. And all the other sides and accompanying dishes were fantastic as well. It’s expensive, but it’s worth it! I should also note - I loved the atmosphere and lighting too. It didn’t feel as dark and gloomy as some steakhouses do.

   Harold went above and beyond and exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we walked into Jeffrey’s, I knew we were in for a treat. The ambience was very nice without being stuffy. The food was out of this world amazing. We ordered the foie gras and strawberry and fennel salad to start. My boyfriend ordered the duck for his entree and I ordered the wagyu filet. The skin on the duck had the perfect char on it. My steak was one of the best I’ve had and that says a lot because we are from Dallas where there are some of the best steakhouses. We’ve also eaten at steakhouses around the country and this ranks as one of our top meals. We really enjoyed Harold as our server. He was patient at answering all of our questions and was just super friendly and warm and just had the best personality. He was also very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. Next time we come back, we will definitely ask for Harold. I would have to say this ranks as one of our top 3 best dining experiences ever. We will be back!

    There is a reason Jeffrey's is always booked up. The food and the service are impeccable, period full stop. The ambience is nice, with a moderate noise level unless you get in a room with large parties. Earlier is better from a speed perspective. Don't be afraid of the 5:45 PM appointments - they are about half full at that point and by 6:30 they are packed. The food is outstanding, no matter what you order. We've had steaks, fish, salads, sides, short ribs. You name it - it's fantastic. Don't miss the chocolate souffle' if you have a sweet tooth - it is very hard to find this side of the Atlantic and they nail it every time. Quality comes at a price, but you get what you pay for at Jeffrey's. Also, we are big fans of their sister restaurant Josephine, which is more casual but also very well done.

    Delicious birthday dinner! Had the deviled eggs, oysters, caesar salad, ribeye, pork chop, brussel sprouts, and steak fries. For dessert the strawberry brûlée and the complimentary bday cake with espresso. All were done to perfection. Would recommend all dishes. Ambience, service, and food exceptional. This restaurant is the best steakhouse in Austin.

    Everything was very good. The hostess was very pleasant making a great first impression. The table and setting was nice...great second impression. The server Joshua was very attentive and knowledgeable....excellent third impression. The meal was very good....how could you go wrong at this point...it was as expected following on the heels of the first three impressions. Absolutely no complaints only kudos. Highly recommend this restaurant. Other restaurant people should go there to see how a restaurant should be run and take notes. Hats off to the owners of this place for managing a restaurant and staff with such high standards!

    We arrived 10 minutes early and thought we could get a drink from the bar. But due to a lack of space we were offered drinks as long as we would stand in the hall. It was an odd environment. The staff was very polished and attentive. Food was good but seats could use to be repaired or replaced. It felt like I was falling through the center of the chair

    Steak was top notch and accoutrements to go with it put it over the top. Foie gras butter, thyme garlic butter, caramelized shallot with rosemary and warm Roquefort cheese were excellent modifiers.

    Service was beyond terrible. We were told the manager would come talk to us. Manager never appeared. I said something to hostess on the way out. Nobody called to follow up. Our entrees took way too long and my duck was raw. We were never asked about soufflés. Tables around us came in later and were served way ahead of us. The worst.

    Jeffrey's is classic Austin for very fine dining. We didn't know how elegant it would be, and even though our attire was like all the other patrons, we felt underdressed. Celebrating an anniversary means the caviar comes out to start. My wife's main seafood dish in parchment was incredible. The wine list is impressive, and our server (meal consigliere) guided me to a beautiful bottle recommendation. The ancillary service was elegant, purposeful, and completely on point. This is a landmark not to be missed.

    My husband and I had never been to Jeffrey’s before but had always heard great things. Our server Chris was very kind, attentive, and helpful. We took several of his recommendations on what to order and nothing disappointed. We had the truffled deviled eggs, ham and cheese croquettes, hamachi, lobster bisque, caesar salad, and New York strip with steak fries and white asparagus. And of course the popovers. Wine was great too, and they gave us complimentary glasses of champagne since we had told them we were celebrating me going to grad school. Dessert was delicious too. Overall really lovely dining experience with wonderful service. A must-visit place in Austin.
