As you enter through the front doors, you will know that you have arrived in the finest steak and chop house when the sweet smoky air from the in-house smoker reaches your nose. The visible adjacent butcher shop allows our guests to see the action of our expert meat cutters readying the evening’s special cuts. We will still offer a few seats in the butcher shop for the casual lunch crowd. Meanwhile, the new space will offer room to allow all of our quests to enjoy a daytime or evening meal at a comfortable table.

The mood of this nostalgic dining area will be upbeat, high-energy and casual sophistication. This will be a friendly and relaxed place, not fancy or stuffy. The staff will work hard to make you feel at home. The action of the butchers, chefs, and the local crowd and the hustle and bustle of the service staff, will allow you to participate in the energy.

Food is consistently good, portions are large, ambiance is cozy and feels like a neighborhood goto restaurant. I definitely prefer Jimmy Ps to fancier steak houses and appreciate that they offer more than just steaks.

We have dined a Jimmy P’s multiple times but the filet I had this visit was by far the best steak I have had. It was cooked perfectly, juicy and you could cut it with a butter knife. I also had the scalloped potatoes. They were just fair. They could have used more seasoning. My husband had the flank steak and double baked potato and was also very good. I tried the double baked and it was much better than the scalloped.

Everything about it was fantastic! The bread and homemade butter, the appetizer (pork), the filets, the side of Brussels sprouts and the wine were delicious. Service was excellent.

Back in town and went to Jimmy P's first. Tried the pork chop which was perfectly cooked with a side of steak fries. Great first meal. Will definitely be back.
