A wide variety of options available on the brunch buffet. Had a carving table with prime rib. My favorite was the cod.

Great View, Disappointing Dinner, and a Price Tag That Deserves Better Kahill’s certainly knows how to make a first impression. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the view overlooking the river is outstanding. Unfortunately, that’s about where the compliments end. I ordered the pork chop, which was impressive in size but disappointing where it actually counts: flavor and tenderness. It was a bit dry and lacked the flavor I expected, especially at this price point. What made it worse was that I’d had a smaller pork chop at Marto Brewing, a local pizza and brewery joint, and that sucker was absolutely delicious. When a pizza place can serve a better pork chop than a steakhouse, something isn’t right. The bread arrived warm, but that didn’t save it. The butter tasted like it had been sitting uncovered in a refrigerator, picking up whatever else was in there. Not exactly the start you expect from an upscale restaurant. Then came the French onion soup. Salty as hell. I initially kept my mouth shut because I eat a low-sodium diet and figured maybe my taste buds were being overly sensitive. Turns out I wasn’t alone. Others at our table made the same complaint without any prompting from me. The highlight of the entire meal? The truffle French fries. They were excellent. Unfortunately, when French fries are the most memorable thing about an expensive steakhouse dinner, that’s not much of a compliment. Service was mediocre at best. We received what we asked for, but there was no real personality, attentiveness, or sense of urgency. Nothing outright terrible, just nothing that made us feel like we were dining somewhere special. At these prices, I expect more than someone simply delivering food to the table. Maybe I’ve been spoiled by the quality and variety of restaurants we have back home in Houston, Texas, but I know a good meal when I have one, and this wasn’t it. Food was mediocre, had chewy scallops and the salmon was overcooked, had two wait people 🤷only thing good was the old fashioned made with basil Hayden toast. Prices too high for the quality we got. Won’t be going back

We had a wonderful dining experience! We started with the hot honey pork bites, and the sauce was absolutely delicious. I ordered the scallops for dinner, and they were cooked perfectly. The sides paired beautifully with the dish. My husband ordered the double-bone pork chop, and it was honestly the best pork chop we’ve ever had. We also enjoyed the featured apple dessert, which was delicious. Overall, everything was excellent, from the food to the flavors and presentation. We had a great experience and would definitely return!

Kahill's was a lovely restaurant and service was great. The jalapeño creamed corn was on point but unfortunately the steaks ordered were supposed to be prime but were overcooked and dry.

Honestly all the food was spectacular. Pasta was splendid. The truffle frites so nice and crispy 10/10. The espresso martini was perfect and the banana bread martini was my absolute favorite. Would recommend!

Khalil’s consistently provides a great steakhouse experience in the Sioux City area. The view of the river adds a nice touch to everything while the food continues to be high quality.
