   Small restaurant but service was still quite slow. There is no fans or anything outside so it was very hot sitting outside. Food is quite expensive for what it is and it look about an hour to get everything we ordered

   Delicious food, super fresh, great service and loved that it was a small intimate restaurant and the waiters looked after us well very attentive but not annoying. Only downside was price for food was expensive which I don’t mind however think the serving size in comparison was not equal. Overall would definitely go again and recommend to others

   We organised a surprise 30th for my partner with Kami and they were incredible to deal with, nothing was too hard, they were incredibly accommodating and flexible with changing numbers! Mitch even filmed a video for us of surprising my partner! We had the most amazing night. The service was phenomenal and the food was divine! We would highly recommend to anyone, we simply cannot fault the overall experience. Our new favourite local

    This was a surprise hit in our Burleigh dining experiences. The food was absolutely amazing, so tasty and fresh. Some great takes on Asian classics, like the Karaage chicken. And don’t miss the bao - outstanding. It would be easy to miss Kami on a trip to Burleigh Heads, but it was the highlight of our trip.

    The food is outstanding and the space is clean and modern, but it's on the highway so the traffic noise is a distraction from how good the food is. I would still highly recommend Kami for the food!

    ood was good! but we had a table booked which wasn’t ready when we got there, took us 15 minutes to get seated after being told they were ‘figuring it out’ - but as a booking i would assume it would be figured out. about 10 minutes after being seated we had to grab our own menus and then another 10 minutes after that we finally got acknowledged by staff. male staff member was nice, but then food took a while to come out, and one of our table members didn’t get any of the food they ordered for about 45 minutes while the rest of us ate. not a great experience unfortunately as staff didn’t seem to concerned or apologetic that we had been left waiting.

    Gyoza & Karaage Chicken delicious! Be aware most tables are outside with no heating nor blankets available, ask for inside table during winter. Service lovely although a little slow (putting it down to being newly opened and finding their service rhythm)

    Loved Kami. Space was full of energy and the staff were super friendly. Had half a dozen dishes to share and couldn’t go wrong, Karaage Chicken was a standout though! We’ll be back soon.

    We were very much looking forward to our dinner here but unfortunately our table had a very bad experience. The service was slow but that wasn't the main issue, they gave a vegetarian meat gyoza rather than the mushroom gyoza, even though we confirmed with staff before eating that they were the mushroom. We understand mistakes happen in a restaurant, and this would have been ok if the situation wasn't completely mishandled by management. Staff were not apologetic at all, and were very uninteresting in helping us or resurrecting the problem. We ended up cancelling the rest of our order and leaving, paying a very expensive bill and not being given an apology or compensation. It is unfortunate at the food was nice but the service we received ensured we won't be returning.
