We had a reservation, and even after our entire party arrived, we were seated only to wait nearly an hour before a cook came to our table. This was my daughter’s birthday dinner, so it was very disappointing. The cook took so long preparing and serving each person’s meal that by the time everyone’s food was finished, the food that had already been served was cold. It really took away from the experience. This was my second visit, and unfortunately, between the excessive noise and the extremely slow service, I was disappointed again. I expected much better, especially for such a special occasion.

Kanki continues to be consistent in food, service and entertainment! However, my one negative comment would be the condition of their floors. I found them to be extremely slippery and very hard to walk on especially using a walker or cane. My party of 4 held on to each other to keep from slipping and sliding. It was like walking on a sheet of ice. And it wasn't just our visit yesterday that I found this but everything we've eaten here. This problem should be addressed before someone gets hurt.

My family and I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday here. Everyone was friendly. Our orders were all correct and the food delicious. Our chef was really good and had a great sense of humor too. Hope to be back again soon.

What an incredible first experience at Kanki! We brought our three kiddos, and it was their very first visit to a hibachi restaurant—and thanks to the amazing team, it's a night our family will never forget. From the moment we walked in, everyone made us feel welcome. Our chef was entertaining, engaging, and had the kids smiling and laughing throughout the entire meal. The service was exceptional, with our server making sure every detail was taken care of while keeping drinks full and checking in at just the right times. The food was absolutely fantastic! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Our children couldn't stop talking about the onion volcano, flying rice, and all the fun at the grill. It was the perfect combination of great food and an unforgettable experience. A huge thank you to the entire Kanki team for making our family's first visit so special. Your hospitality, outstanding service, and delicious food created memories we'll cherish for years to come. We can't wait to come back!

Food was good. Steak was a little overcooked. A gentleman at my table was constantly on his speakerphone. It was really loud. I did enjoy my meal and will definitely go back again. Hopefully next time other diners will be more aware of others.

Food and chef were great. Waitstaff very slow and had to ask for refills more than once. My mom was celebrating her birthday and they never came back to sing to her!

Kanki is always an amazing, fun time! Suggest making reservations via OpenTable or calling restaurant even for a week night-makes check-in so much smoother. Of no reservation you can plan for a 45 minute wait time most nights. Our chef on 6/24 was awesome, wish we had gotten his name. Our server was really good and checked on us throughout meal to fill water, etc. Expensive for big groups but always a great time! Lots of food choices and extras, good for vegetarians or those with allergies (i.e., gluten-free, etc.).

Our server was great; had such good energy. The chef was good, but quickly got annoyed with a guest at the other end of the table when the chefs “rag” touched the food on the grill and the guest told him to remove that portion of the rice. Meanwhile it’s the same cloth he wipes his cooking utensils on. He didn’t want to continue cooking for us which dampened the experience a bit. (He did stay and finish.) The grill was also very dirty when we arrived. Rice everywhere in the cracks, etc. The chef did wash the grill, but it was still gross.
