Kin Dee’s is a modern tropical eatery with cuisine that is truly authentic representation of Thailand through its unique flavors, its ingredients and overall vision. Focused on made-from-scratch, authentic and primarily noodle-based dishes, Kin Dee delivers native cuisine exactly like it’s served in Thailand. Kin Dee’s beverage menu boasts 13 signature cocktails – each inspired by and designed to pair perfectly with one of the 13 signature entrees. Concocted with a decidedly Thai flair, cocktails include the Tom Yum, a Thai twist on a classic Texas margarita, the Mango Sticky Rice, a play on the well-known Thai dessert and the Phuket, a sour twist on a pineapple flavored drink. Kin Dee also serves a selection of wine, draft beer and Thai beer. Our patios are dog friendly.

The food is by and far some of the best Thai in Houston. To be honest, I have lived in Chicago and New York and they come in at the top overall. The food, the service, the interior and the entertainment.

The dinner was great, start to finish. Great atmosphere, great food. Even though we were trying the restaurant week menu, we felt like we had to order the Thai Flower Dumplings. They taste even better than they look, and they're a work of art. The restaurant week selections were the same as the full orders from the main menu, so there was plenty of food to be had. There were 4 of us in our party, and we all ordered something different. We shared across the table, and everything we ordered was great. As good as the food was, our server, Lele may have been the best part of the evening! She made suggestions, she knew the menu, she advised on the different "heat levels" we could order and how they may affect the taste of the food. The table is somewhat small, so she offered to box leftovers as each course came out to make more room. Bottom line, she is great at what she does. When we go back (because we will definitely be back), we will ask for her. Thanks Lele!

Our waiter was excellent and the food was fabulous. It is not a huge menu but there is more than enough variety to suit everyone's taste. The overall ambience is great as well and being a Thursday evening! Will definitely be going back. Music was awesome!!!

Everything was fantastic…the food, service, and atmosphere! I don’t usually do ‘fancy’ mixed drinks, but the ones I tried were absolutely delicious and not sugary and over the top. Really great flavor profiles to them. It certainly wasn’t a cheap meal, but it was worth spending a little extra!

I am a frequent diner there, and all the servers are very good at treating you like who the only person in the room, which is what we got from the Sunny in the bar area seating . She was very responsive to all of our questions about new things. We were trying to explain it all to us, so that we wouldn’t be surprised.Sunny will be go to person when we visit again soon . The Thai Flower Dumpling are my favorite !

We love the food, but our experience this visit was not that good. We think our server was trying to wait for all of the dishes to come out at once, and the one dish that was ready waited a long time for the others - and the result was a cold dish. We sent the food back and instead of them remaking the dish, they heated it in a pan and it just didn’t taste the same.

I dined here for the first time during restaurant week and would recommend this restaurant to others. All of the dishes my table got served was delicious and fresh. I ordered the papaya salad as my starter, Thai basil chicken as my entree and the Thai tea crème brûlée as my dessert. I enjoyed everything. I will say, I have a high spice tolerance so i ordered both my papaya salad and Thai basil chicken at the spiciest level - I need to humble myself when i come to Thai restaurants as they use quite a few Thai Chilli peppers when you ask for the spiciest. After a few bites of my starter papaya salad, I went up to a lady as my server was busy and asked if she could change my entree to one level down and she happily accommodated for me. Even sent a Thai tea to help cool my mouth down, I really appreciated this. Service was great, they had live music which was very nice and the food was fantastic!

What a great little gem of a restaurant! Our waitress was great and the food was all tasty. I can’t wait to go back. Don’t be put off by the construction in the area as there is plenty of parking. Total bonus points for ladies night that has buy one get one half off.

Like the food and the buzz at this place. We brought our (grown up) kids with us this time and they really enjoyed it too. Cocktails were good, food was excellent and the service was friendly and attentive. It is now on our list of regular nearby places to eat.

We have been hearing about Kin Dee and pass it quite frequently and finally decided to stop. The ambiance and decor were fantastic, modern and chic. Our server, Tracy was beyond amazing! She took the time to explain dishes and recommend some great dishes. When our dishes came, she took the time to explain how to eat it and which sauces to enjoy. Drinks were 10/10 along with the food. Authentic upscale Thai food. GM even stopped by our table and had a conversation with us, which I appreciated it! Definitely will be returning. Ask for Tracy!

I have been here before, but this was the first time with my wife. We both really enjoyed our meals and cocktails. I have been asking the servers for meal suggestions so that I will try something different from the usual dishes that I would have ordered. I have not been disappointed. We had a nice chat with the general manager about the garden when leaving. Staff was attentive and friendly.

I have lunch every now and then at Kin Dee. The food is consistently good as is the service. Had the shrimp in a blanket and drunken noodles with shrimp. Both were good. Setting is cute and comfortable. A reliable place for decent Thai.

Last night was our first experience dining at Kin Dee Thai. The food was delicious! The pork belly skewers were a standout. The service was excellent. Tracy was our server and was very attentive and welcoming. We will definitely be returning!

We knew it would be good, based on other reviews, but this place exceeded our expectations. The staff were all incredibly polite and attentive. The food was amazing. As a person who can't eat gluten or dairy (not by choice), having the labels on the menu and having multiple choices was so nice. The Thai flower dumplings were unique and tasted very good. The server recommended a way to eat them that made them even better. Everything we tried was great. The Southern-style green curry was the best I've tried. Our group also enjoyed the papaya salad (a little on the spicier side, but not in a bad way, more of a flavorful way), panang curry, and drunken noodles. This is not an inexpensive place, but it's also worth the value for the taste of the food and the experience, so if you're looking for a medium-spend outing, this is definitely the way to go. It captures the street flavors with added elegance.
