Food here is amazing. The grilled shrimp is the best thing I’ve ever eaten. I always have multiple beers here too as they’re always really nice, however sadly beer tasted off this time. Both pint options tasted odd. We get these beers elsewhere often too, so we recognise if the flavour is off. We tried to bite our tongues and drink them anyway as we hate to cause a fuss, but they were just impossible to drink for us, we literally couldn’t finish them. I had about two sips and my partner had roughly four always followed by a twisted face. The server tried to rectify by offering changing the kegs as that could be the reason for odd taste, but found them full enough. It was an uncomfortable situation for sure. He offered bottled Mythos, which we accepted, but came to find out we were charged the full price for the way pricier pints, for the way smaller bottles. If we actually drank the pints and THEN complained, I could understand the charge, but we sent them away mostly full. No explanation, no apology. Just overall a sour taste as I loved this place.

First time here and booked based on the reviews . I have to say we were not disappointed. Little gem of a place . Very friendly and polite . Service was efficient but not rushed and the food was just what we needed before an evening of beer and music at the Bon Jovi concert. Very good value and we got the feeling this would be a fun lively place in the evening so will definitely be back for seconds.
