Delicious food and drinks. We had a fun time. They were very accommodating with us arriving a little late because of traffic issues. Will keep this in mind for a future Mexican night.

We had a delightful experience at La Casita. We wanted a “real” Mexican meal, not just a taco plate, and were very happy with the menu selections—chilis rellenos, my favourite! Our waitress Jaja was attentive and helpful. Delicious margaritas too! We’ll definitely be back.

Service was very slow but the servers did work hard. Watched two sets of diners come in and then leave due to lack of service. Top shelf margarita was terrible. We watched our drinks sit there on the bar as our multiple servers made drinks for other tables. The food was decent but not outstanding. Atmosphere was lively. Took 20 minutes just to get the check after we asked for it.

The place is very charming and service is great. Staff is wonderful and friendly. The food is also good and very tasty. The kicker however is the price. Its simply way too expensive for the products offered. Almost $30 for 3 enchiladas? Way too much

I have to be honest here, the food was quite bland. The tacos had nothing but meat on them... no pickled onion, no cilantro, or anything else. And the meat was not that good. The nachos which were on special were equally unimpressive. Don't get me wrong, the food was in the mexican traditions, just not very exciting for the hype I heard of the restaurant. Would I go there again, no! Would I say to stay away from the place, probably not... someone else might find the food enjoyable. There were enough people in the place who looked like they were okay with it.

Took forever for anyone to take our order. Took forever to get the food. Drinks were overpriced & contained no alcohol. To top it all off, an automatic gratuity was included on the bill 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻Tips are supposed to be for outstanding service, which goes above & beyond the server's job-not for terrible service & expensive drinks that don't even contain alcohol. I would not recommend anyone to visit this restaurant

The wait staff was nice but service was slow. The food came out cold and took a very long time to come out at all. The food was mediocre at best. Very disappointing.

We dined as a group of 6 on the main level. The restaurant seemed overwhelmed and did not have enough staff. The bar tender was doing triple duties. The food was great and the service, when we summoned them was really good, but we were forgotten several times. This is a very small dining area, but worth the trip and probably better if you dine in small groups.

The food was awesome and individual margaritas really good 😊. I wouldn’t recommend pitchers of Margaritas though… Overall it was as expected and will always be one of my favourites ❤️

Service was EXTREMELY slow and orders were either inaccurate or very, very delayed. Half of the table received their food a good 20-30 mins before the other half. Table staff had to be flagged down to ask for refills on water, drinks, and chips. Food is good but not worth the abysmal service.

Went with a group of 8. Service was lacking and food wasn’t worth the money. With an automatic gratuity on the table, I don’t think the server was inclined to work for their tip. She was very busy chatting with staff most of the time. Food was average tasting, portions good size though.

Good food, but terrible service this time, it was quite busy and a bit of a wait was expected, but we didn't get told that the kitchen is clearly backed up and we were waiting for about an hour, it was hard to get staffs attention to reorder drinks, they forgot our appetizer, then it took a long time to get our bill as they were looking for the card machine (?) And asked for the 3rd time what our order was. A lot of staff was on but no body seemed to know what they were doing and the manager seemed drunk. Shame as the food was good and in the past it was a positive experience.

IMO, there was some issue going on between the kitchen staff and the servers. I would put this issue squarely on the management, not the staff. Why do I say this? From the moment we arrived they were confused. We were greeted four times before we were seated. Each time asked if we had a reservation. Each time the person went down the stairs after we said we had a reservation for 6pm. After the fourth person asked we were brought downstairs into the cheap plastic-looking basement—even though there was an open table in the main floor, with better ambiance. After that it felt like we’re forgotten. It took 30 minutes to get our drinks. Another 30 minutes to get our lukewarm food. While it was very tasty we had to eat it so fast before it got cold. There was no way we were going to send it back for fear of waiting too long. My fear is that the owner will blame our server when this is clearly a management and training issue.

Our group loved the food, everything was fantastic. Only suggestion would be maybe a couple more options for vegan (vegano) but otherwise wonderful.

Service was quite slow on Friday Jan 20. WHen we first arrived at our reservation time, we were told they did not have an open table. Since there is no room to wait inside, we waited outside for 10 minutes for our table to be ready. Once at the table, it took at least 10 minutes for a server to come by to take our drink and appetizer ordre. Our appetizer came out within a reasonable time, but it came out well before our drinks. We had to flag a server down when we wanted to order our mains. When our drinks did come, it appeared they had been sitting out for a while, as one of our margarita slushies had completely melted. The server did replace this relatively quickly.

I was very disappointed from the time I entered the restaurant to the time my party left. Food was average prices were high. Waiters were non engaged. No smile and minimal eye contact. Waited 15 minutes for a single order of a second drink. No apology. Will not not dining at this restaurant again.
