We were at La Cucina for a late dinner to celebrate our son's 18th birthday and as we are from out of town, make a reservation based on a recommendation from a Guelph U Parent's Facebook group. The food was really good, and Tony, our server was so attentive, he made us laugh after a long day and a long drive, and he knew the menu REALLY well. Tony, was outstanding. My son had a great time. I never post reviews. We will absolutely be back. - Kathy

Food was excellent as always, however there was a significant amount of small flies (maybe fruit flies, maybe bigger). Noticed a couple buzzing around the wine and then saw that there were several on essentially all of the walls. This has never been the case before and it did somewhat take away from the experience.

Great food and wine. Our appetizers were very tasty - we had the Cozze Rosse and a shrimp appetizer special Our main courses were amazing - tuna special and the quail A smooth Valpolicca was the perfect pairing

Had a wonderful dinner. Up front, the entrance looked humble compared to what they had to offer inside. From food to service, everything was impeccable.

Fantastic place for date night, business outings, or just a night out with friends. Food was amazing, service was even better, and the overall ambience was incredible. Would go again when I'm in town for sure!

Amazing food, beautiful ambiance (outdoor patio) and wonderful service from Stephen/Steven. Very accommodating with the food allergies that my children had. Thursday special of app and main was perfect portion. Definitely recommend this place!

Food quality and preparation / variety is high level. Prices are on the high side , particularly the Apps at around $18-20. Entry level Wines at around 45$/bottle offer good quality and value
