Fantastic from start to finish. The ingredients were fresh and exciting, the presentation fantastic and the service was wonderful. A great location to share a spectacular meal with your special someone.

I have no idea why this is listed as 'casual dining'. While not excessively formal, this is an upmarket restaurant with superb food, and very charming service. We had a family dinner here on our first night on a city break in Prague, and we were very impressed indeed. All the food was superbly prepared - I had foie gras followed by venison, and I could not fault either course. My wife and teenage son were equally impressed. A truly wonderful evening.

We ate at the restaurant twice on our recent visit to Prague. Each visit was exceptional. The service was friendly and professional. The restaurant is visually warm and inviting with nice seating and light touches of color including beautiful flowers. The food is nonpareil, each is dish is perfectly prepared and visually beautiful. We savored each dish and were able to take our time enjoying and sharing. Our first visit we ordered individual dishes the second time we did the six course tasting menu and each time we were delighted. There is an excellent wine list as well. Amazing experience.

Based on Open Table recommendations, we booked La Veranda for our last night in Prague. I was a bit concerned this Michelin starred restaurant would be a bit “stuffy” but that was quickly dispelled. The decor was lovely and we were greeted warmly and seated. Our server was very professional and knowledgeable. The menu options were varied and unique, and our server suggested perfect wine pairings. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. As our departure was late on a Monday evening, it took a while to find an Uber driver in that area. Our server gave us small flutes of port to sip as we waited. Highly recommend.

We were in Prague for a brief visit and decided to try La Veranda. To put it simply: Exceptional food and service served in a charming venue. All of our dishes were well prepared and beautifully presented (duck breast and pork tenderloin). The foie gras appetizer and tomato/buratta salad were also very special. We enjoyed the evening immensely and wish we could return soon but are headed back to the US.

It was outstanding. The food was creative and delicious the service was friendly, attentive & very professional. This is a neighborhood gem & a must for visitors to Prague who want a gourmet dinner in a lovely, , simple setting. It is next to the Spanish Synagogue & a perfect spot for an upscale delightful lunch or leisurely special dinner.
