Food and atmosphere wonderful for a the business meeting we had. The live musing while hosting an extremely talented vocalist was a little loud at times for for my preference during a business meal however. Food quality as expected and selection of beverages was more than adequate.

Probably the best restaurant in San Antonio. We did our wedding dinner here and absolutely loved it. Thank you for the memories. We will be back.

Terrific service, food timed impeccably, ever dish our party of 7 ordered was delicious. Food sensitivities we’re beautifully handled and the drinks were great. What a gem of a restaurant!

5th time we have eaten dinner here, and it has just consistently been going downhill. Our entire party of 6 was not impressed with the taste or overall quality of the food. We collectively decided not to eat here for dinner again, even if we stay the night at The Thompson. It’s just not good anymore, period.

The service was outstanding. George's bar service tableside was great! Our waiter was very helpful and accommodating for us as we ended up adding another guest to our table. He answered questions regarding the menu items, and he was helpful in making suggestions to certain menu items. Food was good, but not great. Seasoning for the fish, and chicken were lacking. Appetizer's, the eggs were good, nothing special, no complaints. The ahi tuna, lacked anything special. Brussel sprouts were the best! Enjoyed the carrot cake, that was a winner. Whole experience was good but again, food could have been better. Atmosphere was nice, service was top notch!!

We sat pole position at the chef counter. Numerous conversations with Omar and multiple servers. we were treated with some off menu specialties made on the spot, not to mention it was our anniversary, and they greeted us with champagne. The place was not packed, but it was a five star ; it will be our go to for romantic dinners. I can’t wait to see what it’s like when it’s full and yeah, everyone is hustling. Cheers!

Some of the most pleasant and unique flavors I have experienced. Highly recommend the scallops! The service was outstanding as well. The best elegant place to catch up with a wonderful remote colleague after a long conference day.

So first off , we braved the morning sun and dined outside , we can not wait for the fall season to enjoy some of the delicious coffee out there on patio. Talking about delicious ….. the breakfast we ordered which was the American plate , just a couple of eggs which were cooked perfectly, some breakfast potatoes and bacon or sausage. All was delicious. The waffle was amazing !! But even more than the food….. Daniel was our server and he was gosh darn awesome !!! Never missed a beat and great personality. I highly recommend Landrace and if you’re lucky enough to get Daniel, y’all too will be amazed !

We had not dined here in about a year and the menu reduced in selections and the meal was not what we remembered. It used to be super busy all the time and they used to use the big grill in the front but it was very quiet and slow for a Saturday night. Meal was good but not $180 good.

The atmosphere is very romantic. Evening time is probably the best setting. Filet was cooked perfectly and cut like butter. Avocado toast was good not great. Service was outstanding. We would definitely come back. Good experience overall.

Excellent seafood offerings with flexibility to modify meals to suit dietary restrictions. Waiter was excellent and service aligned well with the extremely high quality food and preparation! Of note, mixology for cocktails was also great as an added bonus.

Service was slow and food was not good, especially for the very high prices. Don't waste your money. Go to Bohannons or somewhere else where the food is good and prices are lower.

We went for the Mother’s Day brunch having been there for dinner before and really enjoying it. The food was just average at best. The service was subpar. We even had to ask them to clear some plates and we went to get he course after we he salad. At $95 a person, I was expecting much better, and this was very much not worth it. Very disappointing for such a nice restaurant. We have been to other hotel restaurants for big events, like this with a similar price point, and received much more variety and quality of food.

The experience was over mothers day the food was excellent and the mimosas let mom know she was the center of attention. The band was bery nice and the waitstaff and cooks were fantastic taking the time to ensure mom was well taken care of. The prickly pear muffins completed the brunch experience.

The restaurant was nice, the service and drinks were good but everyone was disappointed with their steaks. They were cooked properly but the quality didn’t match the price and they were very bland. I am always suspect of a steakhouse that pushes sauces with their steak. In this case I should have gotten a sauce as the steak could not stand on its own.

We have LOVED Landrace in the past, and sadly were very disappointed. We had brought our out of town guests for what we hoped would be a spectacular gourmet experience. The meats are no longer cooked on the wood grills. The blue corn hushpuppies that had been on the website when I booked the reservation had been removed from the menu. The wood fired meats and the hushpuppies we had raved about to our guests and they were very excited to try them. Our meals ended up being average. Nothing wrong with them, but for our special night out, it was very disappointing. On the plus side, Andy our server was FANTASTIC.

Very good ftom start to finish. Great service. I will say iys time to upgrade… the dark furnishings and decorations, limited lighting gives the impression you’re closed! Needs to br light and lively. Otherwise, great!

I had the halibut with red cabbage and mustard veloute for dinner with two cocktails. The food was nothing short of amazing. The bittersweet botany cocktails were perfectly mixed! I can’t wait to go back next time I’m in SA.

We expected something a little more substantial for an Easter buffet at $75 per person. The menu wasn't much different than something you would get a standard hotel buffet. Overall a $500 cost for 3 adults and 2 children didn't result in the experience we were expecting.

We went to celebrate us getting married. Pick this restaurant because it was located inside the hotel we were staying at. Unfortunately, our food was mediocre at best. Had to send the steak back, cooked wrong both times. Our food came out cold, but just decided to go with it and eat what we ordered. Best thing on the menu was the mushrooms. Definitely would not go out of our way to eat at this restaurant again.

Menu is very limited. What is offered is very good. There were no specials when we went for lunch. The atmosphere and ambiance was great. The noise level was very low and being able to hear each other seems to be exceptional these days.
