   We were very disappointed that they were out of brisket & we weren’t able to order the Brisket Benedict. That was the whole reason for coming.

   Worst dining experience in a long time. I’ve eaten shrimp poor boys all over the South and this establishment served me the worst piece of garbage: shrimp overcooked and hard, bread solid and un edible, drenched in Mayo when I asked for it dry. Service was terrible as I also asked for cocktail sauce and it was long time coming. As waitstaff Chad finally came to table to drop bill, I asked for manager who finally came 20 mins later. His only suggestion: “I can do it over”? Give me a break. By this time both my wife and 15 yo grandson were upset and all of us were tired from a day of tourism so I paid the bill (their food was acceptable) and left. Don’t go to this restaurant!

   Sorry for the bad review. We arrived for our reservation and the host told us they could not honour it. The kitchen was backed up and they would not be able to seat us. We had traveled all day and this was a 9:30 reservation. Being turned away from a restaurant you have reservations at does not leave a great feeling. We will not be giving them a second chance.

   This menu fits all comers. Food tasty and good value. The noise level is extreme, hard to converse.

   Arrived a few minutes early for our reservation. 4 staff at the host stand, 2 servers, a busser, a bartender all visible. Seated immediately with menus- 20 minutes later, having not been greeted, brought water, or acknowledged in any way - we opted to depart and try and find another place to eat. Disappointing on the service side, as there was plenty of staff.

   We're locals and were on our way to the symphony at the Orpheum. We know Legacy Kitchen from their excellent location out in Metairie, so we figured we'd try the one downtown because it's close to the theater. It is obviously geared toward tourists and that's not what we were looking for.

   We had made a reservation for brunch. When my family and I arrived, there was no hostess to greet us and assign us a table. After awhile, we had to ask the bartender for service. She stated that she would find an available employee to help. We get seated and a bar staff member greeted us stating that she would be taking our drink order, but our waiter would be someone else. 20 minutes after our drink order was taken, we never received our drinks nor seen a waiter. I observed the same situation with surrounding tables. A young waiter arrived to our table and stated that there was not more oysters or red beans available. We were confused because we hadn’t even ordered food yet. We notified the waiter that we haven’t even been served yet and that he had the wrong table. He apologized and stated that he would be right with us. Unfortunately we no longer had any more patience and thanked him and walked out to find service elsewhere.

   Wonderful service...responsive and friendly. Charbroiled oysters were smallish, but very tasty. Pan-seared salmon was excellent (will definitely get that again). Grilled redfish with cajun cream (i.e., etouffee sauce) topping was ok, but not as good as the salmon. First time to try this place, an no complaints.

    It was a great end to a busy conference week! Food was excellent-salmon cooked to perfection with Brussels sprouts and onion combination as a side (minus bacon as requested) was absolutely delicious! Server was efficient and friendly. Restaurant was not crowded and we didn’t feel rushed and were able to have a leisurely dinner and good conversation with our friends and even watch the ending of a big football game on one of the TV s.

    Worse service I had during my trip to New Orleans. Went there due to the reviews but my experience was awful. Cold food, long time to get food. Save your money and go somewhere else with better quality and service

    The service was all over the place and while our server was energetic the food took too long to come out. The ran out of pecans so someone had to run to the store to get them.

    A simple restaurant with a simple menu, more or less the same as other New Orleans fish restaurants. We went at 8:00 and found it empty, which was kind of sad. The waiter was kind, however, and if you like New Orleans food (which I don't) it was fine.

    A hidden gem in NOLA. We had a party of 8. Our service was great. Our server was so funny & friendly! Food was delicious! Drinks were really good! Highly recommend.

    Chicken for my son came out raw. We had to ask multiple people for drinks other than water before finally getting it. They forgot one of our meals when preparing our food. (Party of 6) They rushed the forgotten order and you could tell it was frozen and defrosted. Never again.

    Very nice restaurant. Food was good and reasonable for a hotel restaurant. Like lots of modern restaurants, too noisy. It could use some sound deadening. No complaints other than noise. We will return.

    I’ll never go here again. Tourist trap is the term that comes to mind. Gumbo was nothing but rice. No substitute of sides allowed with fish dish. Service was abysmal. No host/hostess at station. Waiter was not helpful at all. A terrible experience. And I have never provided a review like this before.

    Loud! Unpolished, from the maître d' to the servers. Servers and kitchen staff ran around like headless chickens, not knowing what is going on. Our table was dirty, and my soup bowl was broken.

    We arrived early and took a seat at the bar to wait. While waiting, ordered oysters that were delicious. The restaurant appeared very short staffed. There were several loads of dirty glassware on the bar and we had to wipe down our own area. Ordering took a long time. No one ever came to seat us at our reserved table and could not find a hostess or staff member when we tried to ask. We chose to go elsewhere for dinner.

    Been here several times this year. Absolutely the worst outing yet. Don't know if management changes or just don't care is responsible. Way too long wait times, for seating and food arrival, bartending was atrocious, Stayed at this hotel ,again, because of this restaurant being there. Not in the future.

    Was sat down by hostess and waited 15 mins. No one came to offer drinks or say they would be with us shortly. They sat my husband and I in an area behind a wall. Two employees were at a register nearby us and one came by and said to the other "these f-----g customers, man". We left and went to another restaurant where they served us immediately. Would not recommend this place as they need to work on their service.

    Made a reservation, went early to have a drink. After 40min we reminded the hostess we had reservations, she informed us they were not accepting reservations and it never should have been available on Open Table. Tried to eat at the bar. Ordered food and a bottle of wine. Hour goes by they bring one entree out to immediately take it back to the kitchen. Another 15-20 min go by and they inform us that the other two entrees we ordered were no longer available. Spent a total of 2.5hrs there, the entire staff looked overwhelmed, especially the hostess. Dinning room was also pretty empty the entire time.

    The service was weak Never received my wedge salad. Received my steak and told her since she didn't bring it not to bother, all she said was ok. Are you kidding me. Steak and fries were great. Chocolate pie and cobbler were awful. The ribeye I recommend. Incredible steak. Order of bread awful. You folks need to work a little harder on the overall service and food.

    Reservation not honored and ended up having to sit at the bar where a very rude bar tender talked trash on other guests all while providing mediocre service. The cocktail drinks were literally poured into a glass rather than being mixed and the food was terrible for the price. The salmon dip was basically salmon salad served with saltines and the po boy and fries were bar food. So disappointed.
