From the moment we walked in it was a fantastic evening. Our server was attentive but not to the point of pestering. Our apps and drinks came out pretty fast and they were hot and fantastic. The calamari was so tender and their lemon aioli is delicious. The mussels and frites were great as well, except about 1/4 of the mussels were empty. The pasta was Al dente and my husband loved the sausage and rigatoni. Overall is very quiet and relaxing evening.

We had an early reservation (6:15). Benjamin was all over us the entire time, in a good way. Cauliflower appetizer was great. The eggplant entree and chicken were very good (eggplant could have used a bit more seasoning). Very good experience.

We enjoyed our dinner here. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left, service was absolutely on target. Karen was such a great waitress and was awesome with the kids and she gave some great recommendations. The bread & lasagna were off the charts, and my daughter's grilled cheese and fries looked impressive! Looking forward to returning.

This was the third time we had been to Leo’s. The last two were good. This time the service was disappointingly slow. It took a while to bring our salads and almost an hour to bring our dinners. (Pizza and pasta). Our waiter only had three tables on the patio where we were sitting. 3 other waiters had the other 9 tables so we couldn’t figure out why we had to wait so long. It was not crowded inside either. The other diners who came after us were served before us. (There were only two of us at our table). Not a good experience this time.

Meal was super rushed. Literally we were seated and served our appetizers and meal in 15 minutes. Was asked if we wanted a box for our meal within 20/25 minutes. It was an anniversary dinner, and it was not relaxed at all. Felt like the waitress wanted to turn the table as soon as we sat down.

Ate only from the appetizers menu. Mussels, meatballs are top-notch. Spinach and artichoke dip took more than a half-hour to be delivered to the table. Manager comped it without even being asked. The taste of the dip was disappointing. This is the second time we have have been to Leo’s. First time we ordered from the regular menu and the dishes were delicious. We’ll be back.

Great service and beautiful restaurant. Lovely patio. Food is good but not outstanding. Halibut was tasty and a bit overcooked. Carbonara and Bolognese did not have much flavor. The seafood pasta dishes were the best at our table.

This was the first time my wife and I have been to Leo’s. This was Labor Day evening and the place was not crowded at all. Lovely inside, but we chose to eat outside as the weather was mild. The food was good and nicely presented. However, the dining experience was severely diminished by the service, or lack thereof. This is not to cast blame at all on our server, who was doing her best under difficult circumstances. However, the restaurant was grossly understaffed and one wonders how it will be able to continue under these circumstances. Perhaps this was just a fluke and they had staff call in sick, but I’m not sure I’ll return any time soon.

Restaurant was understaffed, not expecting the number of tables since it was a holiday. This caused some delays but our server was attentive as best he could and gave the same service regardless of the staffing situation.

Everything was perfect! Food was incredible and service was exceptional! The manager was very welcoming and very attentive to my mother who is handicapped. The atmosphere was amazing and it was semi quiet so you could have great conversations! We will be back soon!

Adult food was decent at best. Waitress was very abrupt. My son ordered the kids chicken parm and my husband ordered the adult chicken Parm. We thought they would look somewhat the same. The adult portion looked good. The kids portion was 3 frozen chicken tenders that could have been pool food on top of penne with cheap canned red sauce on top. My 10 year old son refused to eat it because it honestly looked like hospital food.

We had never eaten here and were pleasantly surprised. It wasn’t crowded (shockingly, but it’s Queen’s Feast and they were not participating). It is beautifully decorated inside. We had great service and all our food was delicious. To top it off, very reasonably priced. We will be back!

We dined outside at Leo's. It was very nice, service was wonderful and the food was tasty. At one point a mouse ran by us to the table two away. The girl started yelling that there was a mouse. It then ran over by a table of women...they left. We ended up putting our feet up so the mouse wouldn't touch us while we finished our meal. I got most of my meal to go. The meal itself was great...the mouse was a less than desirable addition to the night.

Delicious food, decent portions, modern restaurant design with large bar. High noise level but that seemed suitable for the type of restaurant. Outside dining is available on the patio. The beef carpaccio was one of the best I've had. The portion was large and included toast slices which added to the appetizer and made it almost a meal. I enjoyed the pesto pasta with chicken and took half home to eat the next day because I was so full. My husband really liked the shrimp fra diavolo. We ordered the cannoli desert to go which came with 2 cannolis. They were also delicious with fresh cannoli cream and a crisp pastry outside.

Delicious arancini — a rare find in Charlotte for this traditional Siciliano “snack” served as an appetizer. Veal Parmesan made with fresh veal — another rarity. Spaghetti and Meatball — spaghetti perfectly Al dente; meatball is singular because you only get one — with a diameter of about 3 inches! Can’t miss with this restaurant..

Food that we ordered was excellent….Pasta Nona and Carbonara. But questioned preparation of a few others….Alfredo sauce in Bolognese? Yuck. Would not even try it. Some classics don’t need experimental preparations. Liked that tables were spread out, made for more privacy of conversation and less screaming over others noise.

Out server was amazing. The food was marginal. Drinks were good. The food could have been so much better with just a few changes. The music was very loud when we first arrived but they turned it down which was wonderful. Wishing the food was better. Staff was very lovely.
