Another terrific meal at L'Oliver. I started with the Tuna Tartare as an appetizer. It was very nice. My hot date (a/k/a Wife) had the Elk Tenderloin, which was tender and delicious. I had the Short Ribs with green chile and jack cheese mashed potatoes. They were heavenly. We had a few glasses of wine (Washington State Cabernet for my hot date and a lovely Cotes Du Rhone for me) which complemented the food perfectly. For dessert, we shared a pear tarte tatin, which was also delicious. Overall, the dinner was a wonderful experience.

Exceptional cuisine and service, and top notch wine list as well. Chef Grenet and his lovely and kind wife Natalie will be missed by all the gourmands of Santa Fe. It was bittersweet to be dining here for the last time, as they are closing L'Olivier, but we hope they will find a new and better venue sometime soon. The staff tonight were so kind and caring this evening as well. Thank you!

As always, the food was exceptionally good. The waiter was awful...had to ask the bus boy to send him over twice. When we were seated, he left the menu's and never came back to see if we wanted a drink/glass of wine.I had to ask the owner to please send us a glass of red wine to have with our meal. When we finished our meal, waiter never came back with bill...again had to ask another server to please send our waiter over with our bill. In all the times Ive eaten there, this was by far the worst service. But since they permanently closed August 29th, this review is totally irrelevant.
