Admittance only for guests 21 and over. Physical ID's must be presented prior to entry. (no photos or digital accepted)

    Overall one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had in the city in 15 years. The rain caused outdoor reservations to be rushed inside but that meant our reservation was taken away by other patrons and the restaurant had no backup for plan or notification. We were able to sit at the bar while they added a table for us, which was wonderful and kind. However, the hostess was the worst part of the experience as she never told us it was ready and barely acknowledged our existence. That started from the minute we walked in and she just stared at us. Major kudos to the two bartenders. Those gentlemen were great and so quick and efficient with their delicious drinks. That was the lone bright spot as we had to get up and leave because a server never came to take our order or check on us once we were seated. We gave 20 minutes of this neglect and left. Beautiful venue and great drinks but worse service we’ve experienced. Would not recommend

    Loved it had such a good time everyone so welcomed even the people there vibing and dancing and the atmosphere was amazing over great night food also delicious

    Extremely Disappointing Birthday Experience I paid in advance for rsvp of what was advertised as an R&B experience for my birthday, only to arrive and find out that management had decided to change the direction of the experience to something completely different. What I experienced was essentially a regular happy hour with loud Spanish music, an older crowd, and absolutely none of the R&B vibes that I paid for the experience rsvp for on Open Table. I spent nearly $150, plus the OpenTable reservation fee ($1 per person), specifically for an R&B experience. I even booked a room at the Moxy because I planned my birthday around this event. Instead, it felt like a complete waste of money and a major disappointment. The atmosphere was so loud that my friend and I could barely have a conversation. There were people yelling over each other, the music was not what was advertised, and the overall experience felt nothing like what was promoted when I made the reservation. The drinks and appetizers were also overpriced for the quality, and unfortunately, the food was not good at all.$17 each for very small portion apps. The only saving grace was our bartender. He was honest, kind, helpful, and genuinely friendly. His cocktails were actually tasty, and his customer service was the one positive part of the entire experience. If you advertise an R&B experience and people pay specifically for that experience, changing it without properly notifying customers is extremely disappointing—especially when people are spending money on reservations, food, drinks, and even hotel accommodations around it. I would not recommend booking this experience if you are expecting what was originally advertised. I left feeling like I paid nearly $150 for something I never agreed to attend.

    A really cool spot to check out if you’re staying at the Moxy. Due to the air quality we couldn’t go out on the balcony but we still got a really nice view of the city. The food wasn’t really all that great. You’d probably get better food at your local Mexican restaurant. We ordered the queso blanco, the carne asada queso fresco skewers, and the barbacoa tacos. The tacos were probably the best, but the skewers just missed the mark. The best thing we had were the spicy margaritas. Overall, probably a better spot for drinks than for food.

    Great place, great view of the Washington Monument. All of the staff was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed on multiple occasions. Definitely recommend
