Chelsea might have just given me a new favorite after-work spot… insert @lullanyc . I stopped by Lulla and the move here is the $28 Aperitivo Box for two a generous spread of Italian bites that’s perfect for grazing with cocktails after a long day. . The box came stacked with flavor and texture: • House focaccia topped with rosemary, olives, and garlic, it was soft, airy, and fragrant • Marinated olives brightened with thyme and orange zest • Giardiniera and creamy cannellini beans that added a tangy savory bite • ’Nduja crostini with stracciatella that was spicy, creamy, and easily one of my favorite bites • Panzanella with mozzarella and juicy cherry tomatoes • Spiced nuts with oregano and Aleppo pepper for a little crunch and heat • Polpette with herb mascarpone and pecorino romano—tender and rich • Crispy fingerling potatoes with pistachio romesco that disappeared fast . We also shared a few dishes from the menu: The linguine vongole was classic and comforting manila clams, garlic, parsley, and white wine coating every strand of pasta. . The grilled shrimp Caesar salad had crisp gem lettuce, roasted tomato, pecorino romano, and a bold Caesar dressing with perfectly cooked shrimp. . Dessert was a house-made tiramisu made fresh daily light, creamy, and exactly what you want to end the night. I finished with a cappuccino, because of course. . If you’re looking for a Chelsea spot to unwind after work with good bites and drinks, this one is worth adding to the list.
