   Wonderful dining experience with some of the best cured meats outside of Spain. A well-curated menu and wine list is a fantastic edition to Austin eateries.

   Service was amazing, our server was so sweet. She recommended really good drinks and we enjoyed those a lot. Restaurant was beautiful, lots of floors, perfect location downtown. FOOD looked very good but ended up being basic and not very good, chicken was very dry. Fish was extremely over cooked. Arugula was old. For the price point, I will not be returning.

   Great spot for our anniversary brunch. We were even greeted with complimentary bubbles! My Spanish Tortilla with creme fraiche was excellent, and my husband had a traditional breakfast with eggs, bacon and roasted potatoes which was yummy. The Paloma cocktail and the capuccino were both just OK. The location and decor was cute, and the service was fantastic. I would go back.

   Charcuterie - not a value. Drinks fine. Assortment of Chops - hit/miss - some overcooked and some just right. Gnocci - bolognese editable. Rave worthy - shrimp & hominy. Server - great. Location great - sidewalk/outdoor - noisy bc it was SXSW - not sure what the normal homeless situation would be.

   Sadly I have to leave this review. I prefer reviewing positive experiences. The 40 min wait for cocktails and a glass of sparking water was just the beginning. Server said she’d go back and make for us if she could but that she was not allowed and they only had 1 bartender (perhaps better planning on a Friday eve and sxsw to have some additional help behind the bar would be wise) The dinner board” was a mediocre charcuterie board with very little for 65.00. They need to change the menu description from caper berries to caper berry (we got 1 cut in half!) 3 slices of manchego so thin you could see thru. The jamon was dry and overall a disappointment. We ordered multiple dishes to share and can say the burger was great, gnocchi bolognese tasty, the tomato tartare creative but the chicken a la plancha looked like a thin frozen breast overdone under an unremarkable salad. The “chops” which were supposed to be small 2-3 bites over crusty bread sounded awesome but only the bread was. We tried a goat, lamb, pork and beef. The pork was an overdone cutlet not a chop by any stretch if imagination. They sent out a second one to correct and it was a bit less dry but still not a chop. The wine took forever and when we inquired were told they store on 8th floor so manager was searching for it. Lastly, we ordered an amaro after dinner and after some time were told the bottle was almost empty and they’d have to get another (we cancelled and took the check). I don’t expect any comps, but any attempt to remedy, provide a complimentary dessert or whatever would have been appreciated and perhaps a sign the staff was attempting to remedy multiple mishaps. For about $500 check for 4, we will def not be returning, despite living and working so close by.

    The cuisine was excellent . The shrimp hominy was deliciouso and the brussel sprouts heavenly . Drink service was slow due to trainees but over-all the food was excellent . Highly recommend . Did not know this was attached to the Hyatt downtown but glad they had valet service as parking in this area is difficult . . Food was moderately expensive .

    Beautiful space, very wonderful staff!!! I ordered an item I don't usually and that is likely why I didn't love it. But everything was very fresh, well made, and drinks were great too!

    A beautiful new downtown Austin dining experience with hints of a lovely European cafe. Great food and exceptional service. Highly recommend the lunch board and Luminaire salad. Can’t wait to go back to try the Lad Bis terrace bar.

    The service was slow, the drinks were over priced ($30 for a single Macallan, with a stingy pour), and my steak came out cold and served with French fries. I don’t think we will be going back, but to be fair it was their third week since opening so hopefully they work out some of the kinks, and hopefully they don’t lose too many future customers in the process.

    Food was not memorable. Felt lured in by the excitement around a James Beard awarded chef, but there was nothing noteworthy. For two main dishes to be so poorly executed - I will not be returning. Chef’s bar is not great seating. You will be staring at a grill lid the whole time. Whole dining experience was stressful honestly.

    We had a great experience. The food was fantastic! We'll be back. They even accommodated an off the menu request we made without any up charge. Our server was named Brooke, and she did a great job.

    Delightful: dinner board starter good for sharing, tomato tartar (like a deconstructed pan con tomate) even better (smokey, nice garlic edge—comes with excellent grilled bread)! Soup excellent, chicken good (maybe sous-vide it?). Service wonderfully friendly; downtown venue sleek and pretty without trying too hard. Had reasonably-priced delicious Rioja, beverage director helpful and very friendly.

    Service was fantastic, very friendly nice staff, atmosphere was fantastic top notch with great furniture lighting music comfort (the star of the show), burger was great, both desserts were great, chicken was so-so, kitchen was slow and inconsistent (expected in first week)

    My family and I dined on just the restaurant’s 4th day open, and it was excellent. Everything is gorgeous and shiny. The ambience is bright, airy and super chic. Can’t wait for weather when the garage style window walls can go up for al fresco dining. The dishes were fantastic-we ordered the lunch board (something the founding chef is well known from San Antonio restaurant), the loveliest pressed melon with tiny anchovies, steak & potatoes, aka crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside fries, and a pressed mushroom sandwich. We also enjoyed cocktails including some fun ones that look just like water but with so much depth of flavor. The staff were wonderful from the first person who opened the door for us, to our friendly and knowledgeable server, Doug, and to Robert who gave us a tour of La Bis. While we didn’t try La Bis yet, staff up there were eager to talk about the food program there. We’ll be back to Luminaire.

    This was one the best dinning experiences of recent memory. The food was amazing with so much flavor and creativity. The service was on point with attentive servers who were easy to talk to but never felt intrusive or interrupting the table conversation. The place felt comfortable and inviting. And my partner and I are still talking about the beef rib and chick pea toastie!

    The service was amazing along with the food. The charred broccolini has an amazing blend of flavors. My husband's steak was a perfect medium rare and my shrimp with whipped hominy was the perfect amount of spicy. The 2nd floor dining room's a great space for a nice cozy date. We are from San Antonio so we came up to try chef Steven McHugh's new restaurant since we are a fan of Cured. We will tell our friends in ATX to add this to their favorites. Can't wait to visit again!

    Food was poor. Chicken albondigas (meatballs) we’re dry and not well presented in the sandwich. Fries were good. The hamburger was too thick and mushy, needs some greenery and was messy. The wide open sobrasada was dry and unappetizing, hard to cut and generally not well done. 3 of our meals came at the same time, while the fourth (sobrasada) took quite awhile. Had to ask for more water as waitress disappeared. Very disappointed. Won’t return.
