The worst place in downtown. As someone who is in the industry… I can take a lot of “mishaps” but this experience was by far the worst. From verbiage used when errors happened to the ghosting of staff. Crazy. 0/10 don’t recommend. Not even the food was up to par for an authentic Mexican restaurant.

Andrés was an outstanding server and really made our experience special and memorable. Plus we spilled a full cup of coffee, and Andres responded with lighthearted jokes and immediate assistance in cleaning it up and getting us resituated. He was delightful and charming and very knowledgeable about the menu, providing excellent recommendations throughout our time there. He also made a point to make a birthday in our party special and fun. The restaurant was great for brunch and not crowded for a Saturday late morning. Definitely recommend.

My mom and I went for a late birthday celebration and it was so fun! The ambiance was so relaxing and the food was to die for. So yummy and huge portions, could not finish anything lol. Also Jonathan was the most absolute best server, helper, all of the above! Can’t wait to return

I made a reservation two weeks in advance and received confirmation the day before the reservation but when we arrived at the restaurant it was closed due to a private event. WTF! 10 people on a Saturday night scrambling to find a restaurant to take a group our size last minute. Both the restaurant AND Open Table suck.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We understand how frustrating it was to arrive with a party of 10 and find the restaurant closed for a private event. Our team made several attempts to reach you beforehand, including three voicemails to the number provided through OpenTable beginning up to two weeks prior, as well as messages through the platform regarding the closure and need to adjust your reservation. We sincerely regret that these communications did not reach you in time and understand the inconvenience of finding another option on a busy Saturday evening. We are continuing to review our communication process to help prevent similar situations.

Had a delicious meal, there was a little mixup with the appetizer, but they made it right, right away. Jonathan was our server and he was excellent.

Valet was ridiculous to start. Hard to find and rude. We had a reservation and waited at least 5 minutes to ever see a host. Server was really nice but not a good waiter at all. Waited for water. Food was not good and definitely not worth the price. Worst tortilla soup I’ve ever had.

I had a fantastic experience at Luna Rojo! The atmosphere is incredibly comfortable, perfectly complemented by the tasteful Mexican decor. The service was top-notch, and the food was absolutely delicious. I’m already looking forward to my next visit and will definitely be recommending this spot to friends and family.
