   Great food and service! One of our favorite restaurants in Durango (we live here). Wish the ambiance was more Italian; too much decor from their Asian sister restaurant next door.

   This has become our favorite Durango restaurant, although we have many others that are also excellent. Menu has a wider variety of choices than many others.

    Restaurant was very cold when we arrived and told it was because they just opened and heat was just turned on. We were seated next to the bar near the cold draft of the door every time it opened. We were celebrating a special night out but bar was very noisy with several groups so it didn’t feel very special. The food was good but a little overpriced for what you get. Waitress was very friendly.

    Amazing Italian food! We brought friends here for a birthday and everything was perfect! Wonderful waitress, excellent food and a birthday dessert and limoncellos we didn’t expect! They definitely went above and beyond!

    We had a very nice dinner. The food was great. Our table was a bit big for two, but we managed. The lighting was a bit dim and it was difficult to read the menu.

    My friend and I had reservations for ages and were put in the back by the kitchen. Not nice for a birthday celebration. We had an argula salad that was fantastic but then both of us had chicken marsala and it was bland. Chicken breasts need to be browned in butter and wine and then the sauce added, The presentation was lovely but again the marsala was bland.

    We sat at the bar, probably the best and most entertaining seat in the house! Tony(sp?) was great, good drinks, wonderful service. The food was so good, and we ate a lot of it! Carpaccio, salad, lobster ravioli, steak, and tiramisu (we like to share, so that we get all of the tastes!) Really looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu! Thanks to the entire staff for a wonderful experience!

    My husband and I were visiting our son for our anniversary, as we do every year. We always try a new restaurant each year. This year we decided to try Mamma Silvia’s. We lived in Italy for several years so we are very picky about the food. We had the mozzarella sticks, which were the best we have ever ordered. I ordered the carbonara and my husband ordered veal Marsala. Both were very good. I preferred the veal. I asked about a side salad and was told it was not on the menu. I would definitely add that to the menu. Not everyone can eat a meal sized salad along with an entree. Our server, Haley, was outstanding. Very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and attentive without being overly aggressive. Overall, our anniversary evening was very nice.

    Pastas were yummy, had the bolo and eggplant meat dish. Busy restaurant, friendly staff. Tiramisu was disappointing, small and not enough "cake" part, served in a stemless wine glass, with way too much of the cream/pudding part.

    Went for a 62nd bday…..everyone wanted the bday boy to feel special! Atmosphere is warm, inviting and colorful….staff very professional with suggestions, parings, …and overall, professional flow of the restaurant. Nice seeing the chefs preparing the food. Great selection of food…mushrooms were fresh, veal was thick and well prepared, sauces were fresh with fresh seasonings>. The only issue…..we couldn’t decided on what to eat…it all looked and smelled delightful. Nice addition to Durango culinary attributes! DONT CHANGE Mama!!!!

    Always a favorite place for chicken Marsala & lasagna. Best in town! Also just wanted to note our server was wonderful. She was sitting customers, running food to tables, and serving with a smile. She’s a gem & a keeper for sure.

    Mamma Silvia’s is one of our favorite restaurants in Durango. Great Italian food and service. Ella was great! Would like a little more Italian ambience. One strange thing: we weren’t allowed to have a drink at the bar while we waited for our table. Reserved for diners due to holiday crowds? We ended up going next door to East by Southwest for a drink at their bar. Still, we’re glad that Durango has such a great Italian restaurant!

    Went with a friend to celebrate the holidays and exchange gifts for Christmas. It was my first time there, and I had heard that it was very very good. We said at a two top up near the kitchen area but it was nice, got to people watch. There was an air vent right over our table that blew cold air, throughout the time we were there, making it a little bit uncomfortable, but they did try to turn it down. However, I’m sure the kitchen staff needed the air circulation. The food was excellent! Our waitress was attentive, and very nice. It is a bit pricey, so if you go there, plan on spending some money in order to enjoy all the wonderful dishes they have to offer.

    Eight of us at a cozy booth just perfect for conversation. Our server, Haley, was an absolute delight. She handled a couple of glitches from the kitchen with the greatest aplomb. Food was great, we all agreed. They got a couple of things mixed up or forgotten, but quickly remedied. No big deal. Love this place and will be back!

    The food and service have always been excellent, I feel the food and specifically, the sauces are even better these days. Everything seems to taste very fresh and maybe better quality ingredients I'm guessing. Very good value for the money with generous portions. I'm very impressed with the improvements and look forward to dining there again soon.
