The food here lives up to Enrique Olvera’s hype. It is incredible - every dish - seriously, we tried them all. The service is impeccable, the view is stunning, the vibe is just right - you will not be disappointed. Highly recommend the tasting menu and the tamarindo drink.
Overall not a good value. Food was mediocre, glasses of wine we ordered were terrible. The restaurant did replace at no cost, however we were not impressed with the experience.
Absolutely stunning views, wonderful service, above and beyond, and a most delicious meal.
Wonderful experience. Can’t wait to return
A remarkably beautiful space.
Desde que se llega al lugar el valet parking es amable, la comida espectacular y el ambiente muy armonioso.
Our server was phenomenal.
The food and ambience was amazing can’t wait to go back!
Such delicious food. Nothing was overcomplicated or fussy, just extremely fresh and tasty. Great service throughout our two visits. We really felt cared for by all staff members. Beautiful environment - whether sitting on the balcony outside during our first visit or in the dining room (due to winds) on the second.
Loved our evening at Manta!! We felt very safe and comfortable. Food was outstanding
Food is nothing very special compared
Beautiful here but the food is WAY over priced for what you get.
Jorge had excellent service!
Setting is gorgeous. Food was good but not as exciting and interesting as we had anticipated. Love the idea of the Mexican, Japanese and Peruvian narrative but it didn’t seem to play out on the plate. Worth a visit for the views, nice staff and a good meal but not a “wow” experience.
Fabulous dining experience and stunning views!
Sobre valorado , poco sobresaliente , Enrrique se expande y descuidan la calidad . Muy caro vs lo recibido . De 14 platillos 4 muy buenos .
One of the best views for dinner at sunset in all of cabo. That being said, the food wasn't worth the price if you only counted the food and didn't include the amazing views.
We had a nice bottle of champagne and my wife mentioned 3-4 times how she preferred it cold. The ice bucket melted right away and wasn't filled up. Champs got hot fast. Bummer.
Service otherwise was top notch and the atmosphere was fantastic. I just would go to the rooftop for the view at happy hour as the food didn't blow us away for the price.
Wonderful restaurant! Service is impeccable and menu was fantastic
El callo estuvo delicioso, el resto del menú que probamos aunque estaba bueno no tenía nada especial. En cuanto a los postres el pastel de las tres leches está olvidable, el postre de mango con leche de coco y el de chocolate están bien.
Great restaurant !!!!!
This is a very special restaurant from the famous Mexican Chef Olvera. We were impress by the place, the view, the ambience. The food was amazing, simple but incredible. Guacamole, ceviche, tacos but made in a truly gourmet and special way. The service was five stars with special mention to Alan and Sofia who were really, really nice!
We really recommend this place!
Enrique is the Best Chef! The view, the food, the scene are all the best we have experienced
This place is fantastic. Honestly some of the best food I’ve ever had in my life. The service was amazing also!!!
Wonderful service with a beautiful setting. The staff did an amazing job in making us feel welcomed.
The soft shell crab tacos are an absolute must!
Comida muyyyy rica!!!
A wonderful experience. Top 5 star restaurant. From service to taste to selection. Everything was fantastic. Thank you so much.
Me and my wife have had the pleasure of visiting Enrique Olvera’s Pujol and Cosme as well as Chef Daniela’s Atla. We’re familiar with their excellent restaurants and style. Manta is their pacific coast style cuisine and since we grew up with that kind of food we were pretty excited about the place. The place delivers, mostly. Unlike Cosme and Pujol, Mantra seems to cater to a more casual crowd and dress code even though the place is extremely nice. I would’ve loved to see a little stricter dress code but I guess this is the kind of client they want to attract. Food was excellent. They have a mixture of Peruvian, Baja and Japanese fusion which tastes as interesting as it sounds. I felt some of the plates were kind of out of place. The Scallop Sashimi was amazing as well as the Tuna a O Toro, the problem was that they don’t seem to flow together. We also had several salads and ceviche’s that were from very good to outstanding. My biggest problem was with our main course which was something out of menu that was highly recommended by the waiter. It was so hyped up that we decided to give it a try. It was a Mariscada with rice, in other words: a Paella. I wish he would’ve described it that way as we would’ve never order this as we are not big fans and I don’t think it’s remotely close to what they want to sell here. The flavor was predictable (unlike everything else we’ve tried in all their restaurants) and was easily the worst plate we’ve had in any Enrique Olvera restaurant. It was in no way bad, it was just not special. Overall it was very good, I would definitely recommend it, it just doesn’t get the perfect score that their other restaurants get because of those two things. Next up: Elio!
The food and service was excellent. They were very attentive to food restrictions our party had and even created customs dishes for us. Would recommend for any occasion.
Ambiance apart from the sunset is rather basic.
Amazing food, amazing views, amazing service, amazing experience! Yes it’s pricey but it is worth it. Each course is so thought out and meticulously composed. We (party of 3) did the chefs sample and lost count of the dishes we had and were stuffed! I wouldn’t describe this restaurant as “fusion” food because the ties from Mexican, Peruvian and Japanese are so seamless. Even there kids menu was super tasty! If you’ve gotten this far in this review, thank you but also go make a reservations already!
Ricardo was excellent.
La comida DELICIOSA, la atención extraordinaria.
El hotel y la vista espectaculares :)
The best dinner I’ve ever had
Beautiful view, great service and great food.
Mau and Sofie were great! Everything was AMAZING!
Service was good, but food was way over priced. $32 for 2 small fish tacos with no sides. Hotel was nice.
It was amazing! The staff was fabulous and we really enjoyed ourselves.
