Once again we praise the service and applaude the cooks. Some new staff and a new food item (tomato bisque) were up to our expectations. But, again, a fresh overhaul of the menu is required. I know you are a Chain company and that you are trying to please a large poplulation. However; what Albertans like, what BC mainlanders like, is not what Islanders may like. Just food for thought, pun intended. Cheers

We sat on the Deck . It was so cold out there that my food got cold quickly on the plate. Asked the kind waitress to get the heat turned up. Maintenance lit the fire place. Asked again maintenance came to light space heaters! No gas tank in both space heaters. Management needs to be aware of building comfort.

Great food and great service as per usual. The table near us was really noisy though. So louder than normal

I really hope our server was just having a bad night because our service was horrible. Every question we asked about the menu felt like a huge imposition, she was not friendly, did not smile and was almost rude. I have never wanted to leave a 10% or less tip more in my entire life, I didn't but I wanted to. Food was great as always, drinks were great, atmosphere is fun. If I were to get her as my server again I would walk out.

This is a nice place to eat at and it is also attached to a casino. Our server was very nice and acknowledged my birthday, but I was surprised that I didn’t get a birthday dessert as some restaurants will give you a dessert for free for your birthday. This is a nice casual place to eat at.
Match Eatery & Public House - CourtenayRespondió el 21 de junio de 2026
Thank you so much Syma for your feedback. I am so sorry we missed your birthday dessert, I will follow up with the staff involved. We are happy you enjoyed your meal with us. Hope to see you again soon!
