Your adventure at Meadow Vue Ranch begins between 6:15 and 6:45 pm on a Wednesday or Saturday night. The first item of business is checking in at the cook shack you will get your tickets and pay for the rodeo and dinner. After checking in it is great time to go pick a seat next to the rodeo arena so that you can see all the action that is about to happen. 7 pm the rodeo begins with the presentation of the flag and the national anthem. There is something special about the national anthem at a rodeo. The action shifts to the mounted drill the children that are participating in our summer camp. The kids get to show all of the skills that they have learned over the past week. It is about to get western as it is time to check out the action down at the bucking shoots where we have bull riding, saddle bronc riding, and bareback riding. We bring in cowboys & cowgirls from all of the West Yellowstone area to come compete at our rodeos.

Dust, fire, and frontier flavor—that’s the whole story in one bite. Cast‑iron biscuits slapped down hot, beans simmered low and mean, potatoes crisped in real campfire smoke, and cobbler that tastes like somebody’s grandma still runs the ranch. The home‑grown beef and chicken come off the flames with that honest, no‑apology Western swagger. Campers throw down rodeo skills that prove the West ain’t a memory—it’s muscle. Loops fly, boots stomp, and the grit feels real enough to chew. Then the night drops quiet and the cowboy poetry and music roll in—raw, dusty, and straight from the bone. A chuckwagon dinner that keeps the frontier breathing.

Highly recommend experience for a Yellowstone trip. Great vibe, great view, and great food. It’s byob so you can bring any drink and cooler that you want.

The rodeo involved the summer camp girls for at least 1/2 if the show. Since we were not associated with any of them, it became drawn out and didn’t hold our teenagers attention. The mic/speaker system was not loud enough for the audience to hear all that was said. The steak dinner was very good!

My family and I had a blast at the rodeo, but you're not going there for the food. The location is gorgeous and the staff is very friendly. They did the rodeo first and we didn't start eating dinner till close to 8pm and the food was not great. But what I would say is that you're going for the experience/ambiance and don't go there looking for the best meal of your life. Go there for a fun night in the mountains, family-friendly atmosphere and a cool night at the rodeo.

We enjoyed our experience very much. 5 adults and 8 kids ages 10-18. Family friendly atmosphere. Small town rodeo. Thoughtful experience. Felt authentic and was a small taste of a what a big rodeo would be but felt small town meaningful. We would do it again. The kids had fun line dancing, and roping and watching the rodeo. The adults liked the rodeo, the open fire cooked food and the live music.

Meadow Vue Rodeo and dinner was the perfect start to our "Mountain / Yellowstone" week! Everyone was super nice, and the rodeo and food were exactly as I hd expected.

A truly wonderful experience for my family. Everyone there was enjoying the rodeo and the youngsters showing their new riding skills. great selection of food and beverages. What a great way to spend an evening in Island Park.
