   Excelente visita. Después del partido Steelers@Saints fuimos a cenar , previa reservación, la atención fue excelente, nuestro mesero muy atento. La comida es excelente, muy Gourmet pero sin tener el previo elevado. Las porciones son pequeñas así que se sugiere pedir 2-3 platillos por persona y se puede hasta compartir. Deviled eggs, pasta con cordero o almejas fueron excepcionales. A solo 5-10 min caminando de Canal St y Bourbon St.

   The food was good to very good. In some cases the things we chose were outstanding—but in a few cases it seemed like things were not as wonderful as we expected that they would be. We got a great table in the corner, but even still it was quite a noisy room. The decor was very cohesive and comfortable. Not overly done, but showed thought and consistency in design. The staff was very good.

    I brought my older grandsons to NOLA for Spring Break. They’ve had a lot of great food and experiences- yet they said Meril was their best food experience. The service and food was 5 *****’s. Thank you Meril Chef and staff!!

    Incredible food to even more incredible service, this was a dining experience to remember. I always love how the staff is so passionate and knowledgeable about the menu and make excellent recommendations

    Plans changed with our group and we couldn’t stay for dinner however had amazing apps! Great ambience and menu selections. Would love to eat dinner as I’ve heard it’s wonderful.

    Hostess and manager could not problem solve for a unique situation due to weather delays. Refused to seat reservation unless 'majority' was present. Wish they could of allowed people who were on time to be seated and order while those late due to rain delays held up reservation. Made a 12:15 reservation and should have been allowed to sit for our hour, not delayed.

    The food here is delicious but we certainly had to wait a long time for it. The waiter kept forgetting to bring dishes to the table and we had to remind them of what was missing.

    Meril did not disappoint! Best value for high quality American choices with incredible service. The Red Snapper was perfectly cooked and there were many vegetarian options. Chris and other staff were professional and served with warm Southern hospitality. We will return soon!

    Wonderful food. I ate in the bar area and my service was great. I ate the upside down cornbread and the Korean chicken wings and it was plenty for me. Saved room for a skillet cookie

    Had a disappointing experience with 1 of the hostesses (I think her name was Gwen), but the managers (sorry, can’t remember their names) and servers more than made up for it, especially since it was my wife’s birthday. Our servers, Shelly and Alan, were extremely pleasant and helpful, which made our visit an enjoyable one overall. And the food was fantastic! We can’t wait for our next trip to NOLA and definitely will be dining at Meril again!

    Limited menu with specials. Two of the main specials were not available. Overall disappointing experience despite all the efforts of the waiting staff. I would not visit again.

    Was looking forward to this meal based off the reviews and dining at other Emerils’s restaurants. Sad is only word/thought that comes to mind. Our wait staff was on their toes. They are my only positive takeaway. 6 of us in our dining party. Menu looks fabulous. Oysters were ok, crawfish was fishy and I know crawfish. Pushed through. Gumbo was good, Not great. Wished I had ordered differently. Went w suggestion and had braised short ribs. Between the charr and the toughness I could not eat. Quality of meat was bad. Did eat cookie knowing mine are better. Oh super loud and I’m a mother of 4!

    It was okay but certainly not up to Emeril's standards. Last time we dined in New Orleans it was at NOLA's. How we miss it!

    We had high expectations of the restaurant knowing that it was owned by Emeril Lagasse. We weren’t disappointed. The cuisine was ‘interesting American’. Don’t expect an overly New Orleans cuisine. Instead expect unusual dishes done right. Our evening started at the bar with a Tchoup cocktail. A shot of smoky mescal with house made cucumber water, lime juice and a bit of simple syrup. Amazing! We finished with some house made cotton candy served with our dessert. Everything in between was equally good. Highly recommend the restaurant.
