The music was deafening! Patrons had to talk loud and some were yelling loud to be heard over the music. This place was really busy for a Wednesday evening. Our waiter began doubling as bartender as bar are filled up. With that...we were forgotten about. Once I got his attention, it was still a while before he came over and when he did, he had the check. Didn't ask if we wanted anything else or dessert, which I did. Thus restaurant visit was an hour longer than I expected it to be.

We visited on September 12th, and the food was absolutely amazing. Our experience was so enjoyable that we were excited to return the very next day. Unfortunately, our experience on September 13th was noticeably different. It was clear that the cook was different, as both the quality and presentation of the food were not up to the standard we experienced the previous day. The presentation in particular was lackluster, which was disappointing given how exceptional our first visit had been. I was initially very reluctant to send my food back to be remade, especially given the current climate and concerns surrounding how situations like this can sometimes be handled. However, our server, Erin, was absolutely amazing. She was attentive, professional, and genuinely made every effort to ensure that our concerns were heard and addressed. Her customer service truly stood out and helped make an otherwise disappointing experience much better. Overall, I would definitely return because of our first experience and, especially, because of the excellent service we received from Erin. I hope the consistency in food quality and presentation can be addressed, as the potential is clearly there for an exceptional dining experience.

The collards greens had too much juice and they didn’t cut them up enough for us. The catfish and shrimp were fried too hard. The macaroni and cheese were stiff. The red snapper was dry

Food is good. Portions are great. Music is loud and pumping so you may not have much conversation except with someone directly next to you. Banana pudding, basic, not grandma’s. FYI..$20 service fee added to pill on top of gratuity for those who aren’t aware. Still, I’d order again, but take out only.

The food was delicious, but the service could use a little more polish. The server was friendly when she arrived, but I noticed another server more frequently than our own. The first time she asked if we needed a moment to look over the menu, it felt like enough time for us to study the menu. The second time, which wasn’t on the server, our food didn’t arrive at the same time. I usually wait for everyone else to receive their food before I start eating, but I had to eat first to make sure my food didn’t get cold.

Great experience overall. However, please make adjustments with confirming orders at intake AND confirming orders upon leaving the kitchen. My friend is allergic to shellfish. While she was clear about this and the waitress assured her that all food is fried in separate vats and there is no cross contamination, my friend’s dish had 1 fried shrimp on top of her fried salmon bites. The manager expressed concern and was apologetic to my friend and willing to make compensate her. However, if my friend’s shell fish allergy had been severe or deadly, the outcome would have been futile. Please take heed.

Establishment did not honor my reservation! Poor customer service and after seeing the atmosphere I was happy they didn’t. Music so loud I thought we were in a club.

This is a very small location and parking is horrible. The food was cold but my plate was hot. I had to send the sides back.
