Originally from New York, Owner Big John brought his love of Italian food to our little island. He then married it to his love of tropical birds and established the restaurant in 1989. The huge portions and creative cuisine quickly made New York Pasta Garden a local favorite, and we continue that tradition to this day.
The fresh seafood and friendly staff will keep you coming back for more! We offer the largest pour of house wine you will find on the island and a have great wine list by the bottle. We strive to have something on our menu for every palette and dedicate ourselves to make your experience both memorable and delightful.

From the moment we arrived the hostess, Claudia, was so accommodating. We had our service dog and she made sure that we had the right place that was comfortable for her (our dog). Then our server, Natalie…man oh man…she went above an beyond. My MIL wanted a sangria…she went next store to get her one…my MIL was so happy. She was so attentive, sweet and all of the other words that go long with that. We will came back for her…her good service is hard to find these days…I was in the business for a LONG time, so I know. Thank you so much much!

We ate here to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were seated at a lovely shaded table. Nice to see that the complimentary appetizer and bottomless wine pour are still active. Everyone in our group enjoyed what they ordered (two lasagnas, veal piccata, linguine with meatballs, artichoke francais, bruschetta, two side salads, and a jumbo caesar salad. Service was friendly and efficient by our Argentinian waitress. The chickens weren't overly aggressive as I have seen them be in the past. These locals left happy and content.

Fletcher was our server, and was great at explaining their uniqe items. The wine by the glass was amazingly generous (like 16oz). We were offered an “amuse bouche”..artichoke hearts. Snd the parmesan bread was warm and fresh. Menu items were nicely presented, hot and fresh.Definitely foundvthe garden setting relaxing and peaceful.

We had reservations for 10 and we were seated in outside garden. Delicious house wine served along with complimentary appetizers….who does that!? And they were so good. Dinner was served for all of us at one time, hot and so good. Jeannette was our server and she was attentive and very nice AA+ rating.

Another great meal. This place has become a go to place when I am in Key West for good food. They gave everyone a baby artichoke appetizer to try. It was so good definitely something I would order on my own. The chicken parm entrée was great as well. Love the food here!

My only complaint was the rolls that they serve you tasted like day old bread. You had to use a knife to cut through the little rolls. This was our second time. The first time we were there before Christmas the rolls were fresh and warm. Tonight they were hard and stale.

Made reservations for New Year's Eve. Required a $20 no show fee per person. Entrees were okay. Appetizers and desserts were a joke. Definitely not worth the $150 cost per person. They also include a 20% service fee without telling you. I noticed an extra $40 charge on my account a couple days later and that my reservation on OpenTable had been removed. I was able to get the reservation added back my to my Open Table account. I had to call the restaurant SIX times to get the $40 charge removed from my account. All except one person I spoke with were extremely rude and hung up on me twice. I don't know how they stay in business with crappy food and service. Do not waste your time at New York Pasta Garden! Our dinner at Latitudes was much better - and cheaper!

We booked for new years, with a threat of a charge of no show. On arrival there was a new menu that was over priced with minimal options. The menu differed from the one advertised. The menu, in fine print, said ask for children’s menu or vegetarian menu, we asked for both and were told they have neither. The food was blah with no flavor. Service was mediocre at best. To top it off they add a 20 percent mandatory service charge and then tried to dupe you by adding another tip option for the bill. I’m sure there is better in Key West

Food was mediocre at best. Caprese is 2 tomato slices and 2 slices of mozzarella for $17. Choice grade filet for $53 is a terrible deal. Will not be back.

We were visiting from out of town, and it was my birthday. I wanted good Italian, but didn’t know the area. Picked NY Pasta Garden on Open Table and hoped for the best. It was wonderful! We sat on the piazza, which was lovely to enjoy the outdoor evening air and have the sound of the fountains and festive white lights hanging above. The service was excellent. Great options (including gluten free) and the food was incredible. The garlic bread they serve while you wait for your meal is otherworldly and melts in your mouth. The wine pours are generous. You definitely need a reservation. You won’t be disappointed!

We spend a large part of our time invested into catering. We can cater at a venue of your choosing, for as many as you have in your party.<br>We believe buffet style lends itself to the relaxed atmosphere we thrive on here in Key West, but we also offer plated dinner service, Cocktail parties, Bar only services etc.<br>We are lucky to have some of the most talented people in the catering industry on our team, with extensive knowledge of cuisines from around the world. Our goal is to make your wedding, social or corporate event a completely fabulous and stress free affair.
