Used to be the best, now very disappointing. No more fresh cut fries, and still miss the beer bread you used to get with entree. Tried an expensive Valentine’s Day special, the dish was not good or what I expected. Also forgot to bring side salads and pulled pork on a sandwich. Can’t blame our waiter, he was a nice. I can’t say I wouldn’t recommend anymore. But we just won’t be back anytime soon.

We got a booth right away near the bar which is where we like to sit. Food was good but it was a Saturday night so they were very busy. It took quite awhile to get our beer and food. A water would have been good while we waited.

When I called for a reservation I was told that only parties of 15 or more were available and to call a half hour before arriving for availability. I did an Open Table reservation and when I arrived was guided to a both near the end of the bar. Not a good place. I asked for a table and was told they were all reserved. And they were tables of 4 to 8. not the 15 I was informed. Who reserved all of these? A tag with number and time was on them. Finally was offered a table on second floor with terrible lighting. If not for the waiter, we would have left. He was awesome. And probably our last time there.

Appreciated being placed upstairs. Would highly recommend a reservation. Food was excellent and service was accessible and friendly. Had a longer wait for our food than we would have preferred (35 minutes) but the food was excellent.

This is a unique venue with all its eclectic decorations and a great place to take visitors for a new experience and fun tour of the inside and outside! The food is excellent as always with a variety of items for the couple of vegetarians in the group. The hummus tacos were especially delicious! We were there before the lunch hour on a Sunday, so very quiet. The noise level always seems very manageable, even when the place is full. You can always count on a great dining experience.

First time here after biking at Moraine State Park. Impressed with menu selections; they have a lot of variety. Garden Harvest soup was very good. Husband got the fish and chips (sweet potato fries), which was good. I got the pub salad with greens, artichoke hearts, candied walnuts and feta cheese. Overall very good. Not much of a beer drinker but did sample a couple. The service was exceptional as Mackenzie is a great waitress. Will definitely be back.

The food portions have gotten smaller and the prices have skyrocketed. The Beer Mac and cheese was dry and had no flavor. We are disappointed. We used to love the place. We will not be returning.

I’ve been coming here since they opened and have never been disappointed. Tonight was mostly the same. Excellent service, well crafted cocktail. The food was delicious. My only complaint is the piece of salmon I got on my salad was very small, by no means in proportion to the price. I mean, really, very small. It was not even close to what it cost. There was nothing wrong with it, it was delicious. Just incredibly disappointing in size. Wow.

We went there for their new brunch offering. There was no one else there at that hour. We soon found out why. There are only 3 items on the brunch menu and they all were essentially a version of a breakfast sandwich. I generally like everything g at North Country but if they are going to continue to offer brunch it needs to be a better and even slightly larger menu. We left and went elsewhere for breakfast. Also the advertising about the brunch hours is not to be found. Searches their FB page and elsewhere. Disappointing overall.

I requested outside dining, however,when I got to the restaurant they said they had been having problems with OpenTable app and it did not register my request for outside dining. We would have had to wait at least 30 minutes to be seated outside. Overall experience with the restaurant was good, food was excellent and the waitress was awesome.

The service from the waitress was great! We made reservations for outside at 7pm. We arrived at 6:50 to find out they gave our table to the people in line ahead of us whose reservation was at 7:45. We were on time and our table was given away to people 55 min early. The only option they gave was to sit inside or wait 30 min for another outside table to possibly open. No point in making a reservation if they can’t keep up on their end.

Unfortunately this place seems to have gone down hill. The food just wasn't very good. My fries were burnt, while my wife and sons's sweet potato fries were underdone. My son said his fish was not very tasty, the Cole slaw was uneatable. Shame, its a nice atmosphere. Oh, and the hummus was horrible. Not creamy, more a thick paste.

From start to finish our experience was top notch. The reservation was easy to make. We did not have to wait. The service was superb. Our waiter was very attentive. We enjoyed our appetizer which will probably turn into our new fave. Our meals were excellent. Portion size and price were on point. We felt appreciated as customers. Thanks for an enjoyable evening!
