It was delicious food and drinks! We had a small hiccup since our booth had a big problem with the seat (one side was almost all the way concaved in). Otherwise, our experience was perfect. The staff was lovely, and it was the perfect spot for our anniversary dinner.

Great food and service. Good recommendations for first time diners. The food is as the restaurant name implies, Northern Italian food from Tuscany and Milan. I’d happily return!

I eat at North Italia way too much and at this point, I don't really care. I've never really had a bad experience here. Favs - Appetizers Truffle Bread - We have to order 2 of these so that we don't stab each other over a piece. It's that good. My most pickiest eaters love it. Be warned, the taste of this fluctuates a little as sometimes I have felt there is more truffle flavor than others. I personally like it when its a little less, but I never forget to order this app. Favs - Pizza The Pig: I'm not a fan of sausage so I ask for no sausage. The toppings are never lacking and the crust is amazing. It's never failed me. Sometimes I like to add onions and mushrooms and its absolutely perfect! Margherita Pizza: A classic and done to perfection! Favs - Pasta Chicken Parmigiana: Delicious. Large portion of chicken and good size serving of penne pasta. If i'm not eating a pizza, I'm eating this! Service Always pretty attentive and friendly. Yesterday the app took too long and they apologized and took care of us without us ever saying anything about it. They care about their customers and its awesome.

This is one of my favorite restaurants and I eat here often. I have, however, never sat on the "side" part that opens out into the mall. I would highly suggest asking NOT sit on this side. It's an entirely different experience.

Love this place! One of the best places for couples! My husband and I got and appetizer and a salad and entree. They split the salad and entree for us and we were both stuffed. Absolutely delicious. And our waitress was so nice! Will definitely be back.

Our reservation for 4 people was on a Monday night and as soon as we were seated, our server tells us EVERYTHING they are out of (4 main entrees, all mushrooms and bread) including some liquor and wine. It was completely disappointing as this has happened there before. Once we ordered the dishes they did have, they were brought out to the table one at a time with several minutes in between. The last one just being a salad. The only plus about our experience was our server. She was very nice, efficient, apologetic and a bit embarrassed.

We have dined at North Italia many times before, but last night, other than it being a beautiful evening to sit out on the patio, was a train wreck. North Italia was out of many menu items, some which were identified up front, some not. The server was not familiar with the menu. After she took our order, about 15 minutes into it ( she had already identified the chicken dish one of our friends ordered was going to take 15 minutes) she came to tell us it was no longer available. No harm, no foul. Our appetizer only had 4 pieces and there were 5 of us. She should have identified that. I asked for ice and she forgot it. My husband reminded her. The kitchen staff brought out our meals after about 40 minutes. No apologies from our server. Our server popped in 1/2 way through the meal and we told her we needed Parmesan for our bolognese and she said ok and never brought it. She forgot it. The bolognese was delivered cold. The atmosphere was great. But North Italia for drinks is one thing, but a bill of over $300.00 for the food we received was sad. The manager delivered our food and he tried to be friendly, he knew he had problems in the kitchen. Sadly, he didn’t realize he also had problems with the wait staff. After this experience, I could NOT in good conscience recommend North Italia to anyone except for drinks.

Food was good. Thanks to reswrvation, no wait time. But it did take about 30 minutes to get our meal to us. Server was nice and brought fresh tea.

Wow wow wow! I had a great experience for my first visit! The food was absolutely delicious, all my recommendations came from my amazing waitress and she did not disappoint! Would love to go back!

Our server forgot about us so we had to go in and ask someone after waiting for our appetizers got 45 min. Then she can and brought all our good….still no appitizer. But all our food looked and tasted like it had sat a long time.

The food was excellent. Drinks good too. The service started out a bit slow, and the waitress seemed to lack personality, although she got better as the night went along. The ambiance was good, but could be better. There was some kind of serious plumbing problem with men's bathroom, which was dripping water from the ceiling. Plumbers were working on this nearby during our meal. That didn't help, although I realize this is not a normal occurrence. Will go back again as the food is very good.

Our food was very good except for my beef marsala. It was overcooked…to the point where the outside of the meat was charred. The Manhattan was very good, and the appetizers were very good, too. I will return to this location but avoid the beef.

We have been to North in Green Hills many times. Over the last few years we have noticed a lot of inconsistencies in the food. My wife is gluten free (allergy) and thus we have to be very careful with her food but her options are becoming less and less. I’m a pasta bolognese fan and it’s a never know what you are going to get. Last night it was extremely tomatoey. Food has become average at best. But my biggest issue last night was the hostess. When we entered about 8:45 for our 9:00 pm reservation she ignored us a she was more interest in the 4 guys standing there waiting on takeout. Then the phone rang and she spent spent the next several minutes talking then started to walk off. At that point I asked her if this was a “seat yourself” situation. She turned around and said “we are on a one hour wait”. Interesting as the restaurant was mostly empty. I told her we had a 9:00 pm reservation and asked to be seated outside. When she toke us outside the patio was at best 1/3 full and all table were dirty. So we had to wait for a clean table. I recognize good help is hard to find these days but this young woman does not need to be in the front of the house greeting customers. Finally, our server was great. Will we be back……not sure Will we recommend…….not the Green Hills location for sure.

The food at North Italia is consistently good. The kitchen delivery or service is always questionable. Our meal took 50 minutes from order to table for a pizza and two salads. The lack of communication from our server or staff was frustrating at best and when questioned about the time to deliver from order, the response was the pizza oven operator had a family emergency. I get so frustrated when an establishment truly has good food but the operational effectiveness is abysmal.

A great place to meet friends for a casual/social meal. Drinks are great. I have been here multiple times and sometimes the food can take a while. Service is pretty good, sometimes you are wondering where your server is, but it is a busy restaurant so take that into consideration.

I’m always frustrated when after being seated I observe multiple staff members walking around but no one acknowledges me or offers to wait on me until I flag someone down and ask to have my server come take my order.

Why is the food so inconsistent at this location. I always order the same dish and it is different every time. Quality control PLEASE!! Also food is most times not hot? Why? Chuck excellent server! We do prefer the Franklin location as the quality control is consistent but sadly a longer drive! Green Hills location PLEASE step up!!

This is noisy, bustling restaurant with terrible parking options at the dinner hour. HOWEVER! Any inconveniences were far surpassed by the friendly (albeit overworked) staff and the scrumptious food! We had the fabulous Zucca chips with a creamy parmesan dip on the side. My husband said "I understand why they don't include a spoon on the plate because I would eat it by itself!" I had the braised short rib served over vegetables and a creamy polenta. It was delicious and satisfying. It was not our first visit to North Italia since we moved here in February, nor will it be our last. It's neither cheap nor ridiculously expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Food was slow to arrive. Salmon was very undercooked. Replaced but then arugula salad was drowned in dressing. Two tiny bites of avocado. It was a busy night but no excuse for this service.
